Abukar Cadans son Abdulkadir is the finance chief of the clan courts. The Cadaans control the port and many other national institutions, where does that leave the people of Mogadishu? Charcoal trade continues and Qad is legal in Mogadishu but banned inn Kismayu.

 

4. Selective Justice (shabelaha hoose still under the control of the clan of IndaCade [he has been promoted to central authority], Kismayo attacked and blood spilt unlike lower Shabbele) Thus cementing the interest of the clan.

 

5. Aggression and Murder (they are 45KM away from Baidoa waiting to attack, Puntland and have murdered injured prisoners out of anger in Buaale)

 

6. Lies and Propaganda (un-islamic, Col fartaaq's death was celebrated but then turned out to be a lie)

 

7. Lack of action admin for the people (mogadishu has peace but that is it, no admin has been created and thus no accountability)

 

8. Foreign fighters they have brought Oromo, Tigray from Eritrea, Arabs, mercenaries these fighters have burned the flag of Somalia and even control the agenda of courts who are pushing Mogadishu into a new war with other regions and the clan of that area to declare that others are Kuffar.

 

9. Power-hungry clan has found a new brand name and new backers from shadowy groups who have no interest in Somalia but to further their own interste and agenda. Thus the clans of Mogadishu are unwittingly starting a new civil war with clans from Puntland, the Juba’s and Bay and Bakool.

 

10.Clan Media : The clan courts have shown a tendency to lie at every opportunity to confuse the masses. They have used the clan based media in Mogadishu notably those of IndaCade’s sub clan, Horn Afrik, Shabbele radio, and have benefited from having Yusuf Garad Omar who also happens to be a kinsmen.

1. The so called government is based in a small city

2. Many MP’s of the parliament have left because of its corrupt leadership

3. They have lost every proxy battle so far

4. It’s only hope lies in bringing a occupying force to protect from whom?, its own people

 

On the other side

 

1. There is peace and stability in the capital that has not been experienced for over 16 year

2. The ICU peacefully take city after city

3. There are popular revolts in Somali and Puntland

4. The courts are at the doorstep of Baidoa

5. Business is booming in Somalia, Many foreign corporations are lining to invest in Mogadishu

6. AU have know power and means to send troops to Somalia

ummm...you should not try to speak for everyone! What the people here say is hardly representative. ICU are the newcomers to the political scene so they would have to have to show a good track record over a long period of time for reasonable free thinking people to prefer them over AY. to govern Somalia. AY is an elected official everyone would have to wait till his time is up to replace him till then ICU will have to suck up their hunger for power! And their ardent desire to do well for Somalia :rolleyes:
