Dr Ligle Posted September 6, 2009 Dhufays, yemen has burcad badeed also. every country has their criminals, but the difference is!! you dont elect these ppl to government, u let them roam the street. America has mafia, but is the mafia the president? no...same with puntland and yemen it has pirates but we don't have them represent our government. The same can not be said for the rest of somalis!!!!
kyz Posted September 6, 2009 yes absolutely, Dr Ligle unlike other fakelands puntland has the right leadership who are running the country according to its constitution and the people are happy about their future. the problem of pirates is not big deal indeed. actualy pirates are acting as deterent of illigal fishing of europians towelers and Asians due to the piracy the illegal fishing of somali shors has dramaticaly decreased so we can say the pirates are blessing in disgus. any way puntland will solve its problems including pirates. Dr Ligle Posted September 6, 2009 Dhufays the piracy problem is confusing bro. Especially the piracy in the mudug region because harardheere and hobyo are involved and puntland doesn't want to take those people and hold them in puntland. It very complicated issue, however i must say the pirates in puntland don't rob the locals, rape the locals, kill the locals, and according to time magazine infact give sadaqo to the displaced people camp from their ransoms. They are alot more sheikh like then shabab that is for sure, and they are alot more humane then rayale. These are gangsters of our streets who are even better in conduct then their leaders in other parts of somaliya...that is embarassing!!!! Another thing i appreciate the pirates for is they don't get involved in politics. They don't create militias and storm puntland troops and challenge their authority. The pirates, rayale, shabab...wallahi if u test it against matrix of goodness u will see the pirates will come out on top...and this is our gangsters ka waran? this is not our sheikhs, doctors, phd students, inventors, business men, etc...this is our gangsters who are even more better then them!!! We dont need even need to compare puntland business men against hamar business men or hargeysa...We don't even need to compare puntland leaders against others...Wallahi if u compare our thugs in puntland u will find they are better then THEIR ELECTED leaders..wax kale iska dhaaf
kyz Posted September 6, 2009 infact the pirates are much better humans than ALshabaab and rayaale because they restrict their thugery to the forigners only, but rayaale and and alshabaab are the pirates on the land. they are causing allot of trouble to their fellow country men. indeed the pirates were former fishermen whose resources were looted by foreign fishing ships. Dr Ligle Posted September 6, 2009 Dhufays that is what i mean, they elect thugs into office, where-as we don't. And even if u compare our thugs to their leaders you will find their leaders are more thuggish. lol So if their leaders are thuggish, what u expect of their street-thugs to be? That is my point and rationale, I am certain Puntland is going to do just quite fine and people are jealous of that, believe me they would love to have a phd leader in their office lol!!! rather then religious warlord or nss thug!!! kyz Posted September 7, 2009 their streat thugs must be far worse but huge number of them already made their way to the presedential palaces of
Dr Ligle Posted September 7, 2009 Dhufays, exactly bro they have so many thugs on the streets and their pool of candidates will neccessarily have to be a thug. Sad but true!!! Anyways they post-poned the sland election for the third time, it's over for that place. Rest in peace dheh!!! you can read that article i posted in the politics section. Civil war is on it's way in hargeysa. Maybe we should give alliance to awdal people!!! what you say!!
Mr. Somalia Posted September 7, 2009 ^^^ Dr Ligle, piracy must be eradicated! Piracy is a crime, it's wrong and it only benefits a few and it hurts many more. For instance, because of the boom in piracy monies, all the AIDs infested prostitutes from Hargaysa, Djibouti and Zone 5, have come to Puntland to spread nothing but disease. Therefore it is paramount that the Puntland authorities create alternative employment opportunities for the youth and to prevent the pirates from recruiting them. It should also develop a strong Coast Guard capable of protecting our shorelines from illegal fishing vessels and toxic waste dumping . I know President Faroole has his hands full, but I think, piracy is the biggest issues confronting his government and we will hold him accountable for how he deals with it, come the next elections. Dr Ligle Posted September 7, 2009 Mr Somalia, i agree piracy must be eradicated but we can't just condemn them without looking at the bigger picture. The first fact is the pirates don't harm any somalis, rape them, loot them or cause them any problems. Infact they even give sadaqo to the displaced people camp according to time magazine. The second issue is, what about the other piracy by foreign trawllers? do you know how much piracy money they make from somaliya? $300 million...Do you know how much pirates make in the annual year of 2008...$80 million...To be quite honest the pirates are still short-changed. Sxb if they can steal from us, why can't we steal from them?...The prophet pbuh used to raid the quraysh caravans and loot their goods and wealth in retialation for the quraysh putting economic hardship on the muslims in mecca. Mr.Somalia so you advocate that foreign trawllers can steal from puntland, but puntland can't steal from them. This is not islamic at all, and we must steal from them for what they stole from us. Now my evidences i will list below for all my assertions below, so you can verify it yourself. Foreign trawllers make $300 million in illegal fishing in puntland and this is the reason that caused piracy to begin according to the u.n report which was reported by times magazine. http://www.time.com/ time/world/article/0 ,8599,1892376,00.htm l Pirates in puntland made $80 million in ransoms for the 2008 financial year. Still short-changed considering what the other piracy earns. http://www.csmonitor .com/2009/0531/p06s0 3-woaf.html So economically speaking the pirates are still short-changed. The Pirates have recieved support khadaafi the head of the A.U and he says they do have justified reason for what they are doing. http://www.indiadail y.com/editorial/2060 7.asp Ama u want us to be like nago sida berbera who just watch illegal fishing happen in their waters and don't do anything about it because they are scared. Mr. Somalia Posted September 7, 2009 ^^^ No. Government forces should fight the illegal fishing trawlers. This will prevent the pirates from using this as an excuse.
