Before Yusuf Yey, for almost two decades, battles raged and morters rained on Mogadishu, and they still rain and civilians flee after he left... It was purely an excuse to pass the blame on him simply because he was there, Mogadishu...

Soamlia had two wars as a nation state, in 1964 and 1977 in both Yusuf Yey was a commander of men and a hero, in both.

Thus he has fought for his nation with distinction. He laso fought Siyad Barre when you used to sing for him. He held out the USC when everyone thought they were invincible. He defeated xasan Dahir Aways not once but twice.

 

The argument of the lame was that Yusuf was a cause of the battles in Mogadishu, that he was not popular, some even used the clan card The fact is that there is more blood shed today and districts that were peaceful under Yusuf are being shelled and abandoned today.

 

You have no argument and in fact Yusuf skills and leadership are being highlighted by the incompetence of Sharif & Xasan Dahir.
