Uma Posted November 13, 2005 I woke up this morning and turned the Tv on like i knew there was a breaking news. Shockenly I heard that one of the suicide bombers was a 35 yrs old women. Though she failed accomplishing the mision, She admited that she and her husband wanted to be the first couple bombers in history, but unfortinutely (sp it didn't work out that way. But female suicide bombers are nothing new. Palastinians groups used them in the past, so did the Tamil Tigers -- the trailblazers of suicide bombings. I've heard of cases where male suicide bombers are dressed as pregnant woman to slip past security checks. The modus operandi for these groups is avoiding detection, not gender or class.
