Just at the border it should establish a Court and a military camp where Oromos and Somali galbeed will train for the next invasion of the Habash. The two forces should serve as a buffer to push back any Ethiopian invasion in the future. If this measure is taken the Habash will never touch the Somali ground again. This also will weaken the Habash government and lead to its ultimate downfall in due time.

The city would probably be well defended. Unless the people of Baidoa rise up againsts the snakes and their masters ICU would walk into a death trap like Iraq. Urban warfare is hell on earth. Has the Americans found out in 1992.

 

What they should do is wait for the TFG army to leave the city and try to capture a town to "pacify" it. Strike and wipe out those forces. This will leave them with less troops they originally. Then wait for the TFG to attack the ICU. Getting attacked by them is easier then attacking a fortified town.

As far as of your warning of TFG attack, saxib, it would be wise,if the TFG stopped barking with empty threats,and if they have any guts to attack to do so without much nac nac.Hiiraale did it, the warlords of Xamar did it, they weren't seen again, the TFG has a home in Baidhabo now,just like the worlords had Xamar,like Hiiraale in Kismayo, do I see short history repeating itself--I think so.only when the TFG makes a bad move,then Houston we have problem.
