Centurion Posted January 23, 2007 If he died he would be a somali hero but know he will remebered as the leader of the "mujahideen" who gave himself up at a refugee camp. Perhaps that makes him a greater hero, putting peace in Somalia ahead of his reputation?

Khalaf Posted January 23, 2007 ^^^He called for jihad, question did he fight in the war? If he didnt then what does that make him sxbs? ps what about this verse  : O you who believe! when you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, then turn not your backs to them. And whoever shall turn his back to them on that day-- unless he turn aside for the sake of fighting or withdraws to a company-- then he, indeed, becomes deserving of Allah's wrath, and his abode is hell; and an evil destination shall it be. Fabregas Posted January 23, 2007 Khalaf, we do not know whether the sheikh took part in some of the ferocious fighting near ras kamboni.I suspect the west and their allies did not want to kill him anway for political purposes and to not turn him into a martyr. This would further complicate things for the t.f.g. The people who where with him and where fighting in the jungle, know why he left. Most of us are truly speculating, we will never know the true story, in reality.
