Inhabitants of Mogadishu know each other. Diiriye and Xaad have survived in the past 18 years of anarchy, stayed in Mogadishu during the Ethiopian occupation which they oppossed actively and will surely survive a bunch of extremist teenagers.

Axmed Diiriye is a respectable elder of Mogadishu and he played his role within the resistance movement against the Ethiopian occupation.

 

Ofcourse Duke and co who supported the Ethiopian occupation of Mogadishu will have no love for all the individuals who fought that occupation.

Meiji, is Axmed Diriye part of M.Society? I thought your M.Society consist of only people from that city, no? Wasn't he supposed to go back to his central Somalia where he is from and rebuild there? Just repeating some of your testaments here.

Diiriye is a well-known and respected elder who resides in Mogadishu city.

 

Whoever lives in Mogadishu is part of that society, doesn't matter where your clan hails from.

In 1991. Ahmed Diriye and members of his family killed their neighbor, an innocent man I knew as a child who stayed moqdisho after the collapse of Somali government. Ahmed Diriye forced to married the victim wife a local banaadiri. I heard, he still lives the house and the man is buried in the house. The jutes will chase him.
