Aaliyyah Posted September 22, 2007 This month is a holly month where we have to worship Allah swt more than we do the whole year and repent to our creator. However, that doesn’t mean we should only worship this month, and forget about our duty to Allah as soon as Ramadan comes to an end. Ramadan is a month where we have to fast from everything. Many people think when you are fasting you are just staying away from food. But, that is not the case. we must stay away from anything that would hurt our ibada (deed). Such as slandering, backbiting, or wasting our time. I have seen people who are masha Allah, you would be amazed how they dress and behave in Ramadan. But, as soon as this month comes to an end, they would return to their daily life style, and you would barely come across with them at the mosque. Subhanalah, so my advice is those who solely worship Allah swt this month, please do keep praying to Allah swt and seek his mercy. As Allah remembers those who remember him. Let’s keep in mind this could be the last Ramadan we witness, and as we all know in this month all the doors of heaven are opened. On the other hand, all the doors to hell are closed. That is how compassionate our creator is, he is merciful to those who seek forgiveness. So insha allah we should strive to take advantage of this month and may Allah guide us all to the right path. -------------------- The world is nothing but a blink of an eye. chubacka Posted October 11, 2007 Imagine if all the ppl acted how they acted in Ramadan throughout the yr.... Humans are weak and Shaytaan is an experienced and alert enemy but the least we can do is TRY to continue the wajib and seek the guidance of our Creator.
