Somaliland forces nab explosives near bridge

A herd's boy saves the day - if I am not mistaken this is Hudiso, and if so, this could have had some disastrous consequences.

Security forces in Somalia’s breakaway republic of Somaliland have seized a sack full of explosives left near a bridge that connects between Bur’a and Berbera in northwestern Sahil region.

 

According to Abdullahi Ismail Ali (Irro), Somaliland’s Interior Minister who addressed the journalists at Ministry offices, the explosives were left in the bridge near Dubur village attime when top Somaliland officials including ministers were attending the inauguration of Qoyta town.

 

Irro said that a herds boy has informed the Police about the sack, who together with a Swedish de-mining agency called Hallo Trust successfully secured the explosives.
