lol@Cabdulle Shideeye, waa taqaanaa yaah..I bought a Somali passport from there for 140,000 Somali shillings(about 14 bucks, give or take), gotta love Moga. .. Passports-ka waa made-to-order. The diplomat passports are red(a lil bit more expensive, 20 bucks), regular ones green. Waxay qabaan on the spot service as well as next-day. They also specialise in making educational certificates. Getting a Phd waxaa kaa xigto $30. Cabdulle Shideeye is doing an excellent job filling the void.

"Baasaboorka cusub wuxuu noqonayaa mid baddalaya midka hadda la isticmaalo, waana baasaboor Computrized ah, isla markaana waafaqsan sharciyada baasaboorrada adduunka" ayuu yiri Mr. Buubaa oo warbixin ka siinayay soo saaritaanka Baasaboorrada Cusub Warbaahinta.

^^^Riyaale already travels and does not use a Somali passport, maybe like many of us they hold dual nationality, British, Canadian, and so on.

Governemnt power is not only how many villages it can take or how many technicals it has, it is also how many nations recognise it, the world recognise the TFG and no one recognise Somaliland and the clan courts...

 

You are right it is a great advantage, hence all the noise.

If Somalilanders were using the old Somali Passport, it makes no difference weather the use the new one or not, does. Either the convence other nations to accept their own or use whatever the government decide will be used. As for the courts, passports will not make a difference. If the government wants to do so, they will simply ask neighboring countries, spaicaly our second capital nairobi, to not give these people visas or even arrist them. There also more and possible means of stopping them, navel blackade, no-fly zones, check pionts, communication cut off, stoping money wiring. Sense, some of these people are on the un's terrorist list, it would be easy force other countries to comply with this isolation of extremist.
