It is said that a man was walking in the middle of the desert when he suddenly realised that he was being followed by a pride of lions. The man lit up a fire and sat down waiting and hoping that the lions will go away. But they didn't, they kept circling him and waiting for their chance to attack. In addition, a group of hyenas also appeard on the scene and sat about hoping to catch some of the lions' left overs. The man kept on waiting and waiting until dawn arrived. It was time for fajar and he wanted to pray but was worried that the animals will attack him as he prayed. He sat talking to himself and wondering if he should forget about the animals and fulfill his obligation to god instead. "What's better than dying as you are doing a sujood to Allah?" he asked himself.

 

Suddenly, he noticed that the lions got bored and started fighting amongst themselves. The fighting took them far away from the man. He thanked Allah and began to pray. Just as he got down to do a rokooc, a cheeky hyena darted forward and took a big bite out of his backside. The other hyenas joined in and the noise they made alerted the lions who came back roaring and chased them away. The man, of course, was eaten by the lions.
