Harakat Shabaab Al-Mujahideen enforces prohibition on expiry food

The islamic forces of Harakat Shabaab Al-Mujahideen conducted operations in the Bakaro market in Mogadishu on Monday.

During these operations, the mujahideen discovered expiry food stored in stores in the market.

The governor of the Banadir region, Sheik Ali Mohamed Hussein showed reporters in Mogadishu expiry food and drugs.

Sheik Ali warned the business people in Bakaro against keeping expiry food in their stores and gave five days to display it.

He also called the people in Bakaro market in Mogadishu to work for the hygiene in the places they are doing their businesses.

It is not the first time that the islamic forces of Harakat Shabaab Al-Mujahideen conduct such operations in Bakaro market and discover expiry food.

In the end of last year for example, the mujahideen performed operations in the same market, disclosing perished sweets and beverage.

Why are they hiding their faces like criminals?

There reasoning is that they are doing what special forces or swat teams do, even though it is unheard of in Somalia until they've started this. I just don't believe they are worried of being arrested by the Federal Government. No other group in Somalia does this.

 

I'm pretty sure they are not very popular amoung the people, and don't want to be recognized or their loved ones either. This is why when it comes to something as simple as enforcing a rule on expired food, they need to use the gunmen.

i think the reason their hiding their faces is very simple to decipher. They simply dont want the foreign elements in their ranks to be identified from ethnic somalis. Plain and simple..

the guys in the pics are most probably somalis. easy to tell from lugaha cato , their shoes and how they are standing. also alshabab dont hide their non-somali fighters.

No surprise from al-shabaab concerning themselves with expired food when 3.5 million are starving and without clean running water or shelter.

Thanks to their killings and bloodbaths that they reap on the nation.

 

If they care abt somalia they should join the peace process and support the government.

But this is AQ al-shabaab that we are talking abt, a group that serves the interest of terrorist.

And that has eluded all solutions. The only silver bullet is Islam. It has done it before, it can do it again.

 

For the sake of Somalia and Somalis back home, we need a lasting solution. And Shabaab seem to have it for now.

How would you have Somalis behave in regards to the Shabaab? And by Somalis I mean the wretched TFG, Puntlanders, Somalilanders, the IDPs, the EDPs, the Diaspora, etc..

 

Furthermore, how would you have neighboring countries (and the world at large) behave in regards to the Shabaab?

 

It's a little too convenient to dismiss people as "dad jiran oo uurka ka buka." So if most people are wrong about the Shabaab, as you believe, now is the time to right that wrong.
