The Zack Posted August 23, 2008 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama has picked Joseph Biden as his U.S. vice presidential running mate, CNN said on Saturday, citing several unnamed sources in the Democratic Party. Biden, 65, is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a highly respected voice on international affairs. Obama will face off in the November 4 presidential election against Republican John McCain, who has not yet announced his choice for the No. 2 spot on the ticket.
