Che -Guevara Posted October 9, 2006 Talk about irony. The TFG helping the very warlords that wouldn't allow it to set foot in Somalia. Yeey and his ilk are morally bankrupt, and lets hope they lose this one.
General Duke Posted October 9, 2006 ^^^There are no warlords, the whole problem was in Mogadishu it was called Balacad group now it is called courts..

me Posted October 9, 2006 General Duke the whole problem is clannism and the people that worship fake clans. People that never would sacrifice for the nation. Kuwan qabyaalada wada Somalidana libaax baad u yihiin, cadawgana bisad.
General Duke Posted October 9, 2006 ^^^ The rash Somali's, did you think all this running around by the headless courts meant anything? What happened we will move ito Baidoa? The TFG went into Leegu which is in Lower Shabbele adn where were the courts in Bur-Hakabo? Sacid Dheere stated that they only took 23 technicals. Give us a break man we await their clan Jihad.. Saxib, go tell that to the fake wadaads who only target secrtain clans for occupation and then call others AMXARO. It is about the shamless men who use clan to cleanse whole areas, subjugate masses, but Somali's are fully awake..
Che -Guevara Posted October 9, 2006 Duke..Saaxib, it is beyond me just why you still support the TFG. I assume you that you are intelligent man, please enlight as why the boys in baydhabo are worthy our support and understanding. N Please don't bring courts into the argument. Just tell why Somalis should give the TFG another chance?
General Duke Posted October 9, 2006 ^^^Saxib everything right is not popular. Also following the mob blindly is not intellegence. The TFG is the only institution that all Somali's can be represented, it is based on power sharing and regional develoution which in my mind would develop the country. The TFG stands head and shoulders above all the other arguments. I would add that Shariah law could easily be applied to the TFG, so the argument of the courts is nothing more than the daydreams of a clan. Somaliland, Puntland, Courts are all clans with pretentions. The TFG is Somalia.

Che -Guevara Posted October 9, 2006 Duke- has the TFG achieved anything so far. Two years on, the TFG can't point to any tangible progress that they have made in the country. It lacks vision, and honestly the compatency to lead the country to any brighter future. The leaders at the top are either politically inapt or simply hell bent on destroying what's left our beloved country. The very concept of TFG as institution might stand above all, but the reality is people running this institution are not equipped to lead this nation. Inter-squabbling and globe-trotting have become their two fav past times. What are their goals, strategies, and vision for the nation, and why aren't they communicating that to the nation. General Duke Posted October 9, 2006 Saxib, The government from inception was seen as a threat by the southern warlords, criminal businessmen and certain fascist clan militias. The TFG had no armed forces, central bank and was threatened internally and externally. It was determined to get a hold in southern Somalia, and now it has Bay and Bakool is the base with which it will build itself.. It has never had it easy and has gained strength over time. Remember at one time it could no go to Baido. It has gained the support of the international community, including the Arab league, AU, EU, US and so on. Though they have not delivered on their many promises. Its strategy is clear, to negotiate with all stakeholders and build up consensus. To avoid unnecessary clashes and conflict. It also aims to reconstitute the armed forces. It is very popular among the disenfranchised and marginalized communities in Somalia. It shortcomings are allegation of corruption and incompetence among its top leaders. It has the Mogadishu media as well as the BBC against it. But it is being underestimated militarily and that will be its advantage in the coming conflict. Why rush anything?
