He may be a newly crowned suldaan. There are multiple clan elders for many clans. Like the two clan elders for the north galkacyo clan etc

I am not suprised if he was recently elected. Waxaan aragnay kuwo diyaarado lagu dhex dhuubay shirarkii Carte iyo Mbagathi marka kuwo taangi Amxaaro lagu dhex duubay hadda lama yaabayo.

I find this backward frame of mind quite fascinating, the sultan or Ugaas supports the TFG so the whole clan must support them as well.

 

We are not living in the 15th century. A government should be looking for the support of the people not some clan chief.

Whether it' backward or not. Clan chiefs hold much sway in Somalia. Whether you or I like it is not up for question.

 

When a clan chief supports somebody it is like telling his fellow clansmen "Hey I believe this is in our interest, why o why don't you follow me".

^ In Puntland and Somaliland regions of Somalia they are the reason that a lot of lives where saved. They are also the reason a lot of lives were saved in parts of the South. They hold a lot of influence. Denying it is like saying America is not an influencer on the world stage.

The Suldan contribution is welcome, at least no one can say the whole clan is against the TFG. Why blame him even Abiqasin and Seeraar are all welcoming the TFG..But we have experts like Abwan here to tell us the truth, lol.
