Akash Posted October 6, 2010 The business sector, the Media sector including newspapers, and Kulmiye leaders are all united in one agenda: to suppress and dominate others. These groups have already put us on the road to dictatorship. It is real because the signs are already there. Dahabshiil is the leader of all the troubles in that part of Somalia. It runs the business machine, the news media, and newspapers. Dahabshiil supports the criminals from SNM and finances the fighting and conspiracies of all kinds. Dahabshiil controls the new government, the army, and other security agencies. Dhabshiil runs the show in the Senate and parliament. The political propaganda machine and the news media are financed by Dahabshiil. Siilaanyo and his comrades are hostages to Dahabshiil. Dahabshiil is the undercover cap in Hargeysa and manipulates the occurrence of every event. It is behind every political conspiracy that takes place. People are wondering and asking themselves about who creates the mess. They put the blame on certain individuals including Siilaanyo, Gaboose, Muse Biixi, and others. But they do not ask themselves who created those monsters. In order Dahabshiil to secure its business, it has to maintain some power in the making of events in Hargeysa. Its business wouldn’t have grown and will never grow under the present political turmoil and tribal distrust in that part of Somalia unless it has the power to control its puppets. People are looking somewhere else to find out the causes of hunger, tribal competition, the monopoly of business, the banking system, the suppression of other people’s concerns. The media in Hargeysa is controlled by Dahabshiil and can only publish the opinions favouring the interest of Dahabshiil and its puppets in the government and political houses. When writings of concerns from clans other than ***** are sent to most of the websites and newspapers run by people from ***** Clans, they are dumped into the recycle bin and laughed at. Today there are many disgruntled clans in that part of Somalia, particularly **********, ***********, Warsangali, and some pockets from *****. The intellectuals of those clans are active protesting the power grab of the old dogs which haven’t yet learned any new tricks and the interest these old dogs have in Dahabshiil. However, their opinions and criticisms are not allowed to appear in the private media in Hargeysa. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Dahabshiil has the monopoly in everything. Dahabshiil has unleashed these old dogs and they are doing everything which pleases Dahabshiil. The newspapers in Hargeysa are the mouth piece of Dahabshiil and in turn favour the Old dogs’ policy. In order to please USA and to keep money transfers open, Dahabshiil is creating an image of fighting terror in Somaliland and creating a scenario and a fertile ground for terrorism so that its money machine is not closed. Now the old dogs in the government are implementing that scenario as has happened in Awdal and Salal and recently in Berbera. Conspiracy after conspiracy is the common denominator for the actions of Dahabshiil and its guards. They are selling the story that some people from Awdal and Salal are responsible for the terror group which came by the sea through those regions. The people have not understood the conspiracy behind those activities and many others to come. Dhahabshiil’s hard currency has successfully worked this time. But who is the judge? Ethiopia has the answer. Mohamed MOUSA Email: mmousa@rogers.com www.harowo.com
Qandalawi Posted October 6, 2010 ^ @ Dahabshiil + SNM = Somaliland, reer Awdal balaayaa latusay ileen lol This reminds me of Amin Amir's latest silaanyo's chairs caricuture Dahabshiil have a strong case to answr to the rest of Somalis that use its service if it wants to remain a serious business rather than a clanish movement. Also Siilaanyo has a problem, with reer Awdal's clear unhapiness and the ever increasing support the SSC has generated it is only a matter of time before he faces his greatest challenge yet (possibly bullets) as the clan leader of the traingle. God forbid any conflict but this is a warrying development. Qolaa hub guranaysa iyo reer hebel baa caraysan ayay sheekada Somalida oo dhan kabilaabataa. Allow sahal umuuraha. AfricaOwn Posted October 6, 2010 The old said dictator Riyaale is gone, so it was only right they resort to this stuff.
N.O.R.F Posted October 6, 2010 What short memories we have. In the space of 3 months Dahabshiil controls everything from the media to the government and has made loads of money from it (forget the previous 20 years the business was running) One never anticipated this much protestation from certain quarters. Waar is dajiya and take a deep breath. SL has moved forward from 'inaka wax nalama siinin'.
Qandalawi Posted October 6, 2010 ^Indeed moved from that stage to Inaka un hanalaku ekeeyo (keep it within the family)
N.O.R.F Posted October 6, 2010 Not quite I'm yet to see a proper argument against the individuals that make up the new admin. Its all been disjointed, hastily written articles without much substance.
Qandalawi Posted October 6, 2010 ^That's according to you, who should we expect from a proper argument with substance, you? a die-hard Silanyo supporter, we need a middle ground, not so rational of you lool Enjoy Amir's input:
N.O.R.F Posted October 6, 2010 How can I argue when there is no basis for the points raised

Kulimye so far has ruined SL important relationship with Ethio (I will let brother Sul to elaborate on that) 3.Security issues 4. The closing of media outlets by the information minister. Stuff you used cry over about. Shall I continue?
N.O.R.F Posted October 6, 2010 1 Nonsense. He is attacking Dahabshil with no basis whatsoever. 2 Neither here nor there 3 Agreed (as I have stated before) 4 Something you previously accepted. Maxaa is badalay?
Captain_Mike20 Posted October 6, 2010 Kala Saar ...business and politics, Dahabshill is just another xawalad saxib, there are plenty of those around nothing special it just has a more recognised label and more outlets, simple. However if you mean Dahabshill is getting favorite treatment then its possible saxib because recently Dahabshill set up a telecommunication company call somtel to compete with national telecoms company TeleSom and even though TeleSom has totally taken the market but Somtel has been getting governmental support in setting up new areas furthermore indedeoro is also getting special treatment in relation to imports and exports as he has been givin a exclusive contracts to monopolies the export of cattle to the gulf. When it comes to the allocation of governmental seats, what do you find again. the vast majority of the cabinet positions are silanyo supporters or cronies like Hashi Ilmi or Gaboose Siad barres doctor. now they started cracking down on the media and as garbage as universal is for a news outlet of very poor quality, it is impartial so impartiality is not bad. These are the same actions they kept critising Riyale about. I hate kulimye but Somaliland is my country, so i support the army and as soon as UDUB or Ucid elect their new party leaders we should see a re-energised political process. Silanyo was going to be garbage, because when he was in the SNM he was Garbage and will forever be garbage. inshalah things will work out, Somaliland seems to be protected by its maker, no wonder we got the declaration of faith on the flag. may Allah guide it saxib, this guy is 75 year old sufferer of dementia. Qandalawi Posted October 6, 2010 Silanyo was going to be garbage, because when he was in the SNM he was Garbage and will forever be garbage. Norf, stop the pretence, there is real and genuine concern for the cry of many because of Siilaanyo's aleniation in some quorters. Your 'anagana nalamasiin era is over in SL' argument wouldn't wash. Or is it just a product of the same old marfash churned drivel that we have come to expect from our resident Marfashlanders in here. I think this has got to be the most PARANOID schizophrenic crap I've read in a long time - and I've read stuff Oodweyne has written. AO & Company, stop this unwarranted apprehension of the old man and his new government and give him a chance. It isn't prudent on your part to come out swinging the first instance you observe a policy that does not jell well with your self-centered egos. Give the old man at least a year or so before you attack him with such whiny little articles like the one above.
