LANDER Posted March 10, 2004 Recently, a couple of legitimate charity cases have been posted on this politics forum. What is questionable is the intentions of the people posting these threads due to the very nature of this section of SOL. If one really wants to donate to charity and help someone in need, let them do it outside the scope of politics as it was mean't to be. You should not need to score "political points" with your charity. Allah is all knowing as you might already know, we are not kufar who donate money to get a tax write off; please handle your charity business in a more appropriate way to save us all from major sins. Gabbal Posted March 10, 2004 This is uncalled for sxb. Whatever the intention of the poster is, it is between them and Allah, but if for awareness purposes then let it, the message, get to as much people as it can. Inamal acmaalu biniyaati, they did their part, now it's time for us to do ours.
Coloow Posted March 10, 2004 Hey Lander, I prefer charity posts (I am sure many do) than discussions that tend to resemble two indian cajuusos: Cajuso one: Look at my son, he is the smartest in his class- he scored an a+ Cajuuso two: My son is smarter: he scored an A++ Cajuuso one: My son is so fat that his enemies are afraid to confront him Cajuuso two: my son is fatter- he releases gasses that make his enemies run. Believe it or not the same could be true with the political section of SOL. Marka, akhi, I would rather see a topic on helping the poor on SOL than reading recycled materials that would make Indian cajuusos laugh. As horn of afrique said, anyone who makes a political point (cajuuso talk) of an unfortunate child is doomed to rot in hell.
