Juje Posted February 25, 2008 This is heartbreaking, miserable, deplorable and a cowardly act. Abdi Kahiye was near seventy year old as far as my knowledge is concerned. He was an outstanding figure in the Police Band long since I can remember. The way he conducted and marched infront of the Band with his stick was the savory of every child back in my time - we use to race down to the 'officio governo' every thursday afternoon where the band paraded just to watch the man's (marxumka) beautiful display with the marching stick. Allah uu naxaristo samir iyo imana Allah ka siiyo ehelediisa.
Juje Posted February 25, 2008 This how Qaadisiya.com is reporting the story - as a victory for the 'mujahidiins. Do they actually even know what the word 'mujahiid' means? Bloody savagers. I tell you what Yeey and his cohorts are the worst thing that hit this country for a long time - but if you believe this punch of Shababs are better then you are either delusional or intentionally pathetic. If Somalia is to ever come back as a nation the primary task should be the eradication of these Shabab.
Peace Action Posted February 25, 2008 If Somalia is to ever come back as a nation the primary task should be the eradication of these Shabab. Gacan ka xaq daran baa dishay, allaha u naxariisto. The killing needs to stop period and anyone who advocates murder and mayham in the name of Allah, Ilaahay waa ka barii, sharkiisana Alle hannadhaafiyo. Baashi Posted February 25, 2008 No whinning fellas. This is not a walk in the park. Benadir is a jungle where injured lions and all sort of hungry beasts roam. Doves and lambs risk their lives if they stepped outside. My condolescences to all the victims whichever side they are on. It is dog-eat-dog world. Cut-throat biz all around sxb. Nephissa Posted February 25, 2008 wuxuu caan ku ahaay bixinta salaanka ciidanka iyo habka usha loo ruxu 'Tis a no brainer. The man was famous for saluting, and dancing for the axmaaro/the puppet government. Why should the killing shock anyone? Question is, will the axmaaro salute him for his ultimate sacrifice? show appreciation, admiration, and honor just the way he did? mise dameer baqtiyee uu ula mid yahay? Kolee Allaha u naxariisto muslim buu ahaaye.

Why should the killing shock anyone? Ok brainier..FYI he was doing the same when the ICU ruled the hood - and he was never under the threat from anyone - why should he be killed now? If you have something against the Xabashi kill them - but please spare others whom their killing will not alter the conditions of the occupation. Yes and this insane killing will shock anyone who is not a bloody barbaric.

They need to be cleansed, eradicated and utterly wiped from the face of the earth. These scumbags dont want anyone breathing except those whom they deem to be of service to them and their cause. And unless we are lying to ourselves they have nothing to do with the tenets of Islam.

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted February 25, 2008 Ilaajay ha u naxariisto marxuumka. I don't think Al-Shabaab was right on this one. This mere worker was as harmless as it gets.
Fabregas Posted February 25, 2008 At least Alshabaab have a clear strategy and ideology. Unlike some people who don't mind having Ethiopian troops one day and fiercely support T.F.G; only to change sides when their favourite politicians are demoted by Zenawi! Johnny B Posted February 25, 2008 ^I gather Bishy haven't heard of the victim and his iconic non-political profile, so she is forgiven, but what is unforgiveable is the barbaric heinous act of the cowards who assasinated atheer Kaahiye. A God-blessed terror is not necessarily a better terror.
Che -Guevara Posted February 25, 2008 Juje...The man is unfortunate casualty of war. Resistance movements are bound to make mistakes and hopefully learned from them. I believe the Al Shabaab need to be more pragmatic and resort to attacking the big cats in the TFG and the actual Ethio foot soldiers instead of TFG low functionaries or men who are just trying to feed their families. The Shabaab are uncompromising in their stance, and for good reason. One has to have clear goal and vision if they are to succeed. They need to adapt and change their ways of doing things if they have the support of the ordinary Somalis.

That is the cheap - but am certain CJ you can do better than that. Che sxb he is not a unfortunate victim of war - he is actually an intended victim of war. And neither was he the first nor will he be the last sadly. We can point the finger at the occupation and their cohorts the TFG - but what is the alternative? The Shababs - mantey intey gori gor tahey ha la iska qabto, hadi kale Wallahi we will get to a stage where it will be impossible to reverse.
