wind.talker Posted April 29, 2005 LOL Is that a serious question? Presidents and/or Prime Ministers usually have a 'council of advisors' - economic, political, religious, etc. I guess in this context, 'political advisor' means its a person who assists the PM in political issues, showing him the different sides of the story, advicing on an action plan, etc. For instance, in the U.S. you know that the post of 'national security advisor' is BIG, i.e. Henry Kissinger, Sandy Burger, Condi Rice, etc. - all became famous because they held that very important advisor post. Jumatatu Posted April 29, 2005 When you utteer the name of somebody like Dr.Maxamed Maxamuud Warsame (Jaango'an) you think of the political heavyweights of Somalia. Though Jaango'aan is a has-been however his previous experience and calibre speakes volumes. He was not a person who was hand picked at his time cause of tribal affiliation but of his capabilities. For such a man today(if it is true) to named as a mere political advisor to a PM who has no experience at all undermines the in integrity of Jaango'aan. If anything Jaango'aan desrves the very post he is appointed to advise.

My point exactly; now going back to my question, what does "political advisor" for the prime minister mean to such a man as Dr. Jaango'an? Though if we were to look closely at the scheme of things, we should note Dr. Condi Rice is second place to George Bush of all people, no?
Gabbal Posted May 1, 2005 Incidentally, that Dr. Looyaan is the current owner of Gedonet.
