Residents told Somalinet that the dead were two civilian men who were seen laying on the ground very close to the Ethiopian base and they are thought to be killed by the Ethiopian soldiers in the area. Last night an explosion followed by gunfire could be heard around the Ethiopian base. There is no confirmed report whether these two men were killed by the Ethiopians. Witnesses said the victims were in their 20s and gunshots were seen on their bodies. Some reports say the men were shot dead by the Ethiopians after they were suspected. This follows a series of bomb explosions in the capital targeting on the positions of interim government and Ethiopian forces claiming lives of several Somali soldiers in the past two weeks.
