Mad_Mullah Posted October 26, 2010 No need bro, the video explains itself. Mogadishu = ****, but you have to say it still looks better than Bosaso, Hargeisa etc.
Timur Posted October 26, 2010 Originally posted by Mad_Mullah: No need bro, the video explains itself. Mogadishu = ****, but you have to say it still looks better than Bosaso, Hargeisa etc. Ya think? It was the commercial center of the Somali peninsula for hundreds of years, it will take a little longer than 20 years for brain dead warlords to tear it all down. But you didn't have to take cheap shots at Bosaso and Hargeisa - Bosaso for one did not have the luxury of being looked after by rich imperial Arab sultans, Italian colonial presence, or government development or even the fact that many northeastern-based businesses are invested in Xamar but no vice versa yet it is catching up quickly. All of that infrastructure in Mogadishu and the new residential and commercial real estate serves no one if the city is constantly under siege. All of Bosaso was built on xalaal money, I can't say the same about all of Xamar.
Som@li Posted October 26, 2010 ^Define Xalaal money?
Mad_Mullah Posted October 26, 2010 looool @ and Xamar was built on prostitutes money? Besides Bosaso was built by people leeching in the west (benefits), claiming they're divorced. No hate though.

OPPOSITE (Xamar) - Isbaaro, drug trafficking, charging people to use their own water wells, etc. Not all of Xamar's new-rich is built on xaraan, just a disproportionately large chunk of it. Captain_Mike20 Posted October 26, 2010 see i think your still in the cycle of the somali delusion, Xamar or mugdisho back in the day was built by everyone, not only that but if ask your parents because most of you guys dont probably even remember, the cities tallest building were built by Somalilander businessmen because they were not allowed to build those building in hargaisa or burco or borama for the matter. So anyone who wanted to build a house or building had to do it in mugdisho this was the law of the mad man siad barre this lead to the rapid development of Mugdisho, you might not know this but the Somaliland opposition leader Faisal Ali warabe and others from Somaliland were the cheif architects of Mugidusho highlighting that this was a shared city. now knowing that about mugdisho and considering that bosaso is smaller then burco in real size, you can check it for yourself from google earth or google maps. and considering that it was never bombed or has war actually even touched it you can not compare this with, A city of 1.5 million people, that was flattened to the ground literary and has been built in 18 years, now look at hargaisa from google earth or google maps, and the various Youtube video's showing it, and it shows the clear logical argument if there is any single city built by Somali's at a short space of time none can come close to the king of the somali cities, HARGAISA also consider the fact that it was the first capital of a somali independent nation, the place were the somali language was written and other historical significance that can not be matched by any other city. so with this in mind, you un rational somali people, return to your delusions,
Mad_Mullah Posted October 26, 2010 Sahib Hargeisa looks shit, the only people that think it looks good are Somali quxooti like you and me. The world looks at it and laughs. They probably can't even see the difference between Bosaso or Hargeisa.
Timur Posted October 27, 2010 bosaso is smaller then burco in real size Comparing Somalia's commercial capital to a tribal village. This guy is spending too much time with the green leaf of Meru.
