Thankful Posted February 26, 2008 Bossaso, Puntland: The Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and the Environment Hon. Ali Jama Farah returned from a successful official visit to the United Arab Emirates. Accompanying the Minister on his return to Puntland was a delegation consisting of Mr. Abdalla Mahamed Amudi of the Suleiman S. Al-Jabry Trading Est. Company, Mr. Hassan Khalaf Al Hasani of Gulf International Veterinary Quarantine Management Company and Dr. Mohamed Ghazi Ali Yahya of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). Minister Farah was greeted at the Bossaso Airport by the Minister of Commerce and Industry Hon. Abdisamad Yusuf Mohamed, the Minister of Education Hon. Mahamud Bille Dubad, the Governor of Bari Region Musse Geele Yusuf , the Mayor of Bossaso Abdirisak Hared and representatives from the Somali Livestock and Trading Company. Puntland Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and the Environment Hon. Ali Jama Farah spoke to the media about his visit to United Arab Emirates and the purpose of the visit by the delegation, which is to assess the progress of the Puntland Livestock Quarantine and Holding Ground. During their stay, the delegation will be meeting with Puntland Government officials and engineers at the livestock quarantine construction site.
