After I asked them of this suppose Qarax which even the BBC reported, they told me they never heard of such Qarax, I assume it was just little explosion some where, it cause not even the slightest injuries. The only reason it has been reported, because it's quite shocking since Hargeysa is said to be remarkably the safest city in Africa... And as always this dude over exagerates, he calls it, 'bomb attacks' it was simple explosion, minor, no one even knows what it was. half of the city never heard about it. General Duke Posted April 7, 2007 Somalia: Bomb attack on Somaliland police headquarters 6 Apr 6, 2007 - 1:17:21 PM HARGEISA, Somalia Apr 6 (Garowe Online) - Unidentified gunmen threw grenades at the main police headquarters in Hargeisa, capital of the breakaway Somali region of Somaliland, witnesses said. Mohamed Dubane, Somaliland's police commander, told local press that no one was hurt in the incident. "We are investigating this crime," the commander said. The bomb attack specifically targeted the main office for the investigation department, known locally as CID. Nearby residents were shocked by the terrible sound of the explosion, which tore through a part of the building, witnesses said. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack in Hargeisa, a city renowned for its relative peace.
