^Beel is about community. Somalis have Beel without meaning as I said. And it is not directed to yours specifically but to the general community of Somalis.

 

A Beel is supposed to:

 

- provide help to less fortunate members by calling on the tujar to provide funds

- clear the streets of garbage and ensure simple cleanlilness

- create bonds of kinship and responsibility between members of the beel

etc

 

As I said they can't even clear streets of garbage - but every locality no matter how minute has a beel this or beel that - and what is the beel for really- to provide a political platform for caloosha-u-shaqeestaayal or worse for armed conflict.

 

BTW - remove the beel's name above - it's against the site rules.

^Adeer, I don't know where your rankling of the Beel's name emanates from , but this whole events is to facilitate open dialogue and build up consensus across communities that live in districts and villages across the regions of Bari, Sanaag and others.

 

It's an effective way of communicating the General's platform and other agenda to the communities and strengthen mutual understanding of a planned comprehensive action.

 

 

Emotionally blithe remarks aside, what proof might you present that they can't even clean the garbage? That is really a comic one.
