Scientist Posted July 3, 2005 THE SPLIT OF THE GOVERNMENT IS GETTING WIDER AND WIDER, I THINK WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS WE WILL SEE BIG SHIFTINGS AND MAYBE WAR WHICH SEEMS NOW TO BE INEVITABLE. AS THERE ARE REPORTS OF THE PRIMEMINISTER PREPARING TO SACK HIS REBEL MINISTERS AND THE GOVERNMENTS IMPORTING LARGE AMOUNT OF ARMS THE SITUATION WILL BE DECIDED WITHIN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, THIS IS MY READING OF THE SITIATION, PM GEEDI WILL SACK THESE MINISTERS, YALAXOW, CAATO, QANYARE AND CO. THEY WILL ALSO SACK THE LEADER OF THE PARLIAMENT SHARIIF HASSAN, AND DALXA WILL REPLACE HIM, BUT THE REBELS IN REVENGE WILL VOTE NO CONFIDENCE ON THE PRIMEMINISTER AND SACK HIM, THEY WILL ALSO REPLACE THE PRESIDENT WITH ONE OF THESE THREE MOSQUITOS. THEN THEY WILL ATTACK JAWHAR WITH THEIR MILITIAS THEY BARRICATED IN HILWEYN, AND LAANTA BUURO, THE GOVERNMENT WILL HOLD JOWHAR JUST, UNTIL THEY GET DIRECT HELP FROM ETHIOPIA, THE ETHIOPIAN TROOPS ESPECIALLY THE SOMALIAN DIVISIONS WILL FIGHT ALONGSIDE THE GOVERNMENT UNTIL THEY PUSH THE REBELS TO THE OUTSKIRTS OF MUGADISHU. THERE WILL BE A PERIOD OF CEASEFIRE AND RE-GROUPING AND ARMING, AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL GIVE THESE REBELS FEW DAYS TO SURRENDER OR FACE ALL OUT WAR, THE FIGHTING WILL START AGAIN AND AFTER FEARCE BATTLES IN THE NARROW STREETS OF MOGADISHU THE GOVERNMENT WILL DEFEAT THE REBELS, SOME OF THE REBEL MINISTERS WILL BE CAPTURED AND CHARGED WITH TREASON. contraflow Posted July 3, 2005 Nice story very creative I must say, however some will deny it.Although I believe that a big, ugly war will occur. Who will lose, the people ofcourse.
Duufaan Posted July 3, 2005 Much dependent on how much international support, c/laahi yusuf group receive. Modisho Warlords will make mistake if they do not exercise their military power, sooner rather later. For publicity, any war is good for them, but other hand losing first bottle will undermine father their control. To attack Jowhar they need Suudi. Last week Geedi supporters and Suudi had meeting that probably stopped a planned attack for Jowhar.
Maalqabeen Posted July 4, 2005 Will there be a fight between the two factions ? Yes Are Yusuf and Geedi building up their military power ? Yes Is C/laahi Yusuf going to attack Mog-warlord strongholds ? No C/laahi Yusuf is gong to challenge the Mog-warlords authority but he will never attack them head-on. That kind of moves will bring his presidency in danger. I think this already in-famous fight that everybody is thinking of won’t take place in the near future because the both parties don’t want be to blame unnecessary bloodshed. General Duke Posted July 4, 2005 Its more lkely there will be some skirmishes but within groups or clan factions. For example things are shifting, an example of this was yesterdays skirmish in Dayniile where Qaynyares authority was challanged by his own kinsmen. Musa Sudi is in trouble with his supporters and from his clan. Morgan in Mogadishu and Hiiraale playing deaf to the demands of factions leaders. The conclusion there is no united faction, clan and therefore no real chance of a big clan based war.
Young Jeezy Posted July 4, 2005 Lets hope there will be no war. Why is the president afraid to go to Mogdishu and why do the warlord ministers/MPs appose a government they are part of? The sooner us young somalis get rid off these old backward men, the better for our country. They should be in old people housing, not leading a country. Scientist Posted July 5, 2005 Jason your pic really looks scary lol, Why not go to Mogadishu with that macheti and have fun with it. lol Anyway lets talk seriouse now, the reality is these guys are the current power brokers and the rule the land, but the problem is no body knows what they want.Power? well they have the power. Possitions? well the least one of them are ministers or MPs. Money? well they were looting the country for the last 15 years with their road blocks and allowing western country to dump their toxic waste. So no body really knows what they want, What they really really want. Your question why the government is not going to Xamar? I think because Xamar is the grave yard of the last three government, 1st it was Cali mahdi,2nd it was Caydiid, and the 3rd it was C/Qasim. So who would blame them if they say we are not going to Xamar because of its record, and because the road blocks. Only yesterday was the Hornafrik radio (which is a pro-rebels radio)was reporting of the re-establishment and new road blocks being built.
