Che -Guevara Posted December 10, 2007 The man sounds sincere in his belief and very determined in his goals. His efforts are definitely paying off as the Tigrays failed in securing the city. And his description of how the Tigrays treated Somalis in Mogadishu is right on the mark, something to ponder by all of us that are on the sidelines, and by the tribal enclaves in the north. Seekknowledge Posted December 10, 2007 Another self declared Sheikh just like his pal Osama bin laden. Dear Ceyroow ask your pal OBL to take his wars to Saudi Arabia and see what his answer will be. The dude doesn't want to ruin his family business but has no problem supporting the killing of innocent somalis to him you are all a bunch of black people all his abtis. I bet you never met him he is too high to sit and eat with you. Get a life i say and let your people leave in peace.
The Zack Posted December 10, 2007 What in the world is wrong with Ceyrow. Ileen its true that he has been trained in Afghanistan. These words don't help the civilians in Mogadishu. This will give Ethiopia couple of million dollars.
Fabregas Posted December 10, 2007 Well, I think he made his declaration clear. He is the front for Alqaeda in Somalia. His seems to be distancing him from Sheikh Shariff and co further and further!

Fabregas Posted December 10, 2007 He just repeated the same things that he said before. But this time he directly gave greetings to Sheikh Osama Bin Laden " xafidullah" as he put it. I think he is signalling his allegiance to the Alqaeda network rather than any Somali authority. He wants to distance himself from the clan insurgents and the secular alliance in Asmara. I mean, he purposely seems to be going against the wishes of Sheikh Shariff by constantly linking himself with the "global Jihad" which is virtually non existant. The Taliban is made of mainly Pashtuns and Pakistanis and the Alqaeda netwrok doesn't have any authority in Afghanistan, they are just guests of the Taliban. In Iraq, the resistance is mainly made up of ordinary Iraqis and they are increasingly getting agitated by Alqaeda in Iraq declaring allegiance to a man who lives in Afghanstan(OBL). In Chechnya, the Arabs were of small number and they had little influence. Most of the Arab Mujahideen were expelled from Bosnia. So all of these struggles in Palestine, Chechnya, Afghanistan and Iraq are essentially local struggles which often take a nationalistic as well an Islamic identity. But of course these Alqaeda ppl want to make out as if they are leading these struggles from their caves in Afghanistan! Oy yeah and he said! 1. There is a historical crusade....not struggle between two nations. 2. Everybody must join the Jihad...not enough to speak from radios, lobby and complain etc....because Ethiopians don't care 3. Ethiopians have lost thus they resorted to massacring innoncents 4.The struggle is for Islam...not nationalistic..tribalism.... And that is about it! Baashi Posted December 10, 2007 Divisive, uninitiated, and suicidal fool. Kalligiis Muslims like him are making the case for the very enemy they say they want to defeat.
Jacpher Posted December 10, 2007 ^My thoughts exactly. Does he live in a different planet? Amxaaro u dhaaray, Ugandeskana u caga juglee, war ninku xoog badnaa.

RedSea Posted December 11, 2007 ^It doesn't matter who he talks about. The bottomline, he is in his country and defending it rightfully so.
The Zack Posted December 12, 2007 ^What he talks about matters big time! This is the same reason why the ICU's policy failed when Indhacadde started making some un-smart threats( Itoobiya baan weerareynaa in 7 days, Mareykanka waa cadowgeen blah blah). You don't need to say something you can't do.
