General Duke Posted July 8, 2006 web page Shabelle Media Network (Mogadishu) July 7, 2006 Posted to the web July 7, 2006 Mogadishu There are increasing war tensions in some parts of southern Somalia Capital of Mogadishu due to militia movement around basements where Abdi Qaeybdid, former police chief and Anti Islamic courts is based. Reports from the areas indicate that well armed militiamen loyal to Abdiqaybdid are deployed in parts of the road that links Mogadishu to southern regions. The trucks that used the road between Mogadishu and Afgoi district have turned their direction into other sides for militia movements. "We are very much concerned about the increasing war tensions, because we have no where to run" Mumino Farah, a mother with seven children said. Militiamen belonging to Abdiqaybdid's sub-clan ...... and others from the Islamic courts armed with heavy armed vehicles are facing each other around battle lines near Banadir Hospital and the Road between Mogadishu and Afgoi. Xoogsade Posted July 8, 2006 Ninkaan waa la kari waayay nabadna waa diiday inuu qaato. Xataa Cisman Caataa u Caqli celiyay, A/Y promised him a job in the police force if he was willing to support the TFG, He refused everything. It is about time a war is waged on him. If the courts could make it quick so the residents don't have to worry about what is going to happen next everyday that would be great. Just because the courts chose to negotiate and advice him, he thinks there is no willingness to fight him. Nimanka noocaan oo kale ah ee caaada qaatayaasha diinta aan heysan waxaan xabbad ahayn maku waana qaataan. So, when are we going to hear about the good news of his death or departure from Muqdisho? General Duke Posted July 8, 2006 Its funny but I agree with Xoogsade, why is A/qaybdeed fighting? He left the old destroyed alliance, his sub-clan are not with him on this, so why is he sticking his kneck out? The courts like them or not are the power in the city, all other armed groups should join them or work with them to bring order to the city. One authority would bring benefits..
