Abwaan Posted January 14, 2010 When Israeli officials summoned the Turkish ambassador over an anti-Israel TV show, they seated him in a lower chair and conspicuously failed to place Turkey's flag on the table. But at issue was much more than TV.
Raamsade Posted January 15, 2010 Erdogan should've been the fall guy for this not the ambassador. It is all Erdogan's fault. The fears and suspicions of secular Turks that Erdogan was an undercover Islamist with hidden Islamist agenda are coming true as each day goes by. He was recently awarded the "Defender of the Faith" by S. Arabia. Erdogan's entire beef with Israel is rooted in Islamist ideology regardless of how he camouflages it. Che -Guevara Posted January 15, 2010 ^The man exercises what believes in, hows that problem? I guess the occupation of Gaza and West Bank and the humiliation Palestines face is just sideshow haye.
Sikaawe Posted January 15, 2010 Iswrael, a little confused and depressed country with a lot of self-inflicted wounds. One has to believe it, it is matter of time before it comes to its knees politically and financially. Let's wait for the tide to turn.
Libaax-Sankataabte Posted January 15, 2010 lool@the picture. Ayalon is so childish. Couldn't he think of other ways to voice his concern? That was silly. Let the Isrealis now deal with hyper-nationalist angry Turks.
Peace Action Posted January 15, 2010 Raamsade your comments are showing your true colors of being anti Muslim. It is not only Turkey but the whole world that is disguisted with the daily humilation and oppression of pals by the jewish state. PM Erdogen is becoming quite stateman and may Allah protect him. SpectaKooler Posted January 15, 2010 Has any one asked why the Israelis care so much about maintaining good relations with the Turks? Money sure makes the world go round' and round, eh? As for the article: The pink elephant in the room is obviously the blatant racism and collective punishments being the modus op on how Israelis deal with anyone who disagrees with them. Just like they said in the article, their way of "softening up" the Turks before they meet with them the coming week. Many of the Arabs who are in their parliaments have complained about these sort of things as well. They've had other MP's called them names and had directly or indirectly been given refusals to rebutt in arguments on the floor. So, nothing new here other than Israel picking a more fair Fight with the Turks this time.
