RedSea Posted December 30, 2009 So they discussed combating 'extremism'. Why not ask for financial support from Iran or better yet arms for their militia.
Thankful Posted December 30, 2009 Admit it Red Sea, it is impressive, show's that their is only one true Government in Somalia in the worlds eyes! Whether it be Obama who the foreign minister Jangali earlier in the year or it is someone on a completely different spectrum President Ahmadinejad. No matter how many governments come and go and are ineffective, the one in Mogadishu is the only recognized one.
RedSea Posted December 30, 2009 ^^^Yes, but its' in effective and neither I nor the world is impressed with that. It seems Muqdisho is Somalia, and Somalia is Muqdisho. Where is Buntland or perhaps Somaliland? How come no one is lending a hand to these peaceful regions.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2009 ^When Puntland and Somaliland become good boys and obey Xamar Cadeey, they shall be noticed till then f them.
RedSea Posted December 30, 2009 Xamar cadeey has gone wild. Ever since the AMISOM mission in Somalia, the world only knows Muqdisho as Somalia. If they help develop Somaliland and Buntland, then gues what the Somalis who are bogged down in Xamar would perhaps go to those peaceful areas to escape the violence. Right now every little dollar is being wasted on dead on arrival entity like the TFG while those resources could have been put to better use. Somalia is being held ransom from Xamar, and the world is blind to where the problem stems from. For the sake of Somalis and Somalia they should recognize Somaliland as a country and develop Buntland as a example for the South. At least some of us can move on. Right now, both you and I are F'up sxb and no one is going anywhere.
General Duke Posted December 30, 2009 ^^Che, adeer the only problem with your argument is, you support and hype up the very groups that are attacking this weak government and holding the whole nation hostage. Somaliland, & Punland are not attacking Mogadishu. You seem to have no principle adeer.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2009 ^The government is an illegitimate one imposed on Somali people and enjoys no grass roots support. The opposition though real obstacle is not what rendering this government useless. Redsea...I fail to see how recognition for Somaliland is tied to stability in the south? General Duke Posted December 30, 2009 ^^^I must have not understood your earlier comment or you are not making sense. If you want the good of the Somali's you would not be opposing the peaceful regions in favour of those whom bomb student doctors and brain wash the youth. RedSea Posted December 30, 2009 Che, Saaxib what makes you think I was talking about the stability of the South? The south has had more than enough time, resources and help to help themselves. You failed, again and again!. It's time to redirect the resources, development and attention to other regions who are willing and able to improve. The South has too many players, groups with narrow interests to even reconcile right now. But Somaliland is ready TODAY. Recognition of Somaliland would open world of opportunity for our business people, educational institutions to form connection with he world. While Soamliland government would be able to barrow money for development of the country, trade, form partnership with many countries. Overall, a tremendous boost to the lives of somalilanders there. This can all be achieved within five years if recognized.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2009 ^LooooooooooL...The infamous five plans, did wonders for many African countries. Development money should channeled where it could help granted the world recognizes Xamar as the center of the Somali world no matter how choatic it's. RedSea Posted December 30, 2009 ^^^That is unfortunate sxb. Get use to this then.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2009 ^What you are advocating is balkanization of Somalia. That would be worse option and one burden with sets of problems that surely destabilize northern regions.
