General Duke Posted July 17, 2005 ^^^^ Is the story fake then or you just quote anything? Geedi is in Libya with Qadafi, on route to the Senegal to meet Wade and maybe Rice.. ..
Jumatatu Posted July 17, 2005 From PM Geedi to meet Secretary Rice to to meet Wade and maybe Rice ...from affirmative to 'maybe'.... adaba gacantada isku dilaye ..do you need my help..! It is part of your continuos false propaganda, in-accurate reportitng and fantasy that you share with many in your camp. People like you should be sent to relevant health institution for cure. If anything sxb, you need it more than anything else. The fact that you still believe in a motive that has crumpled and a President that has narrowed his influence to his close kinsmen (not even clan--cause he is killing half of them in Galkacyo on daily basis as I write now) shows that you have no purpose in life other than seeing your adeero doing his thing and your adeero licking his buut. General Duke Posted July 17, 2005 lol^^^ To meet implies that its a future prospect and maybe just clarifies that simple statement. The ability to read is important the title of the heading was a direct translation of the Somali news article. Pure nonsence, beliveing your own lies has beome your forte lately. As for narrow influance or the implication that the President is lacking influance, it seems PUNTLAND and its regions, Middle Shabbele ...Jowhar, Bakool, Gedo, Lower and Upper Juba and of course Hiiraan, must be a narrow piece of real estate.. What happened to Sharif and the roadblocks??? One must laugh out loud..
Jumatatu Posted July 17, 2005 Once there was man who was asked to count his herd, knowing that the one with the biggest herd will be accorded certain prestige he cunningly counted as his not his herd but those of others. When the time of 'kala-rebto' came he was uncovered as a lier and marked out as a man who has no dignity and shame. The tag remains with him untill this present day. Here we have a man who lists all the regions of Somalia as been under the control and in support to Yeey and also that everything is running smoothly for the TFG. While all the facts and reality in the grounds contradict him, yet he has no remorse nor shame to realise his blatant and continuos lies. If he was under age we would have dismissed it as a feeble but he is not and is a 'qowsaar' I leave it to the rest of the Nomads to judge him. In the mean I will insert few facts to see if we can jump start him to reality ( I doubt whether it will succed : a) the president elected in October has yet set his command and excutive order in Somalia b)has been since his election the prime factor to the disintegration and deterioration of the government c) has not succeded in realising all his International request since his infamous election ; Foreign troops + and the cancelation of arms embargo d) is head of a government that is divided into two parts if not three in the core and that has lost all the credibility and hopoe it bourne with e)since his election has created the atmosphere of animosity and clashes among people who lived peacefully among each other before f) a president who whose only solution to the Somali dilema is through troops, troops + more troops g)a president who relishes and lives on clan fracas proved by the current fact of today and his direct involvement of clashes and assasination of and between his sub-sub clan in Galkacyo. h)a Prime-minister who thinks the naming of ministers and governors is the sign of a working government. The latter naming which has created conflicts especially lately in Hiiraan. On the other hand someone should tell this PM that country also has other regions other than Banadir and Hiiraan, since he is in the namin mood he probably should appoint in others to. So tell me Mr.Pinochio do you assume the flights of Geedi to foreign lands and the establishment of a mock government offices in Jowhar constitute illigimate goverment. Do you have the slightest idea that this is a reconciliation government and thus should be as such and not a concfictory one as Yeey is turning it out to be. Arguments which are supported by even people like the well reputed Prime Minister Abdirizaaq H. Huseein, who by clanship is close to Yeey but far from him in the real comprehension of the dilema and its suitable solution. You can go ahead and write your rubbish and falsehood..Geedi here ..there - Natinal army here...there...You will however one day wake up to reality
General Duke Posted July 17, 2005 Juma, Let me hit you of point for point… a) President was elected on October with no central national institutions in place… No bank no police, no army, no embassies, and the national capital occupied by intercity factions and business groups. To compound this picture the country had hundreds of NGOS and special interest groups who were and still are thriving on the lawlessness… Since his election he has chosen an able PM, kept the majority 90% of cabinet and 60% of MP’s on his side. His agenda of pacifying the country, not rushing into Mogadishu and restoring the power of the government has been consistent. Jowhar, Beledweyne and Kismayu are now support basis in addition to PUNTLAND which has been his only institution… b) This is a misconception and a blatant lie, there is no disintegration of the process, however a minority of MP’s numbering 70 have been cajoled and mislead by a group of thugs who are against peace…. They have failed to 1. Stop the relocation plan. 2. Have not removed roadblocks and 3. have not created a sufficient opposition movement to the President. c) Foreign troops are ready, IGAD the Arab league and AU have stressed their support. Amongst the countries who have recognised the government is China which has full diplomatic ties with the TFG. The UN security council welcomed the peace keeping efforts and requested from IGAD detailed plans. So far the US has been observing the situation however some progress has been made on that front with Norm Colman and business groups leading the lobby on behalf of the TFG.. The whispers of the last week about Senegal has only added to the excitement. d) Again uttering half truths and fibs wont do, the government is united, from President, PM 90% cabinet and 160 MP’s including deputy speaker and comprising every clan. When we analyse the situation one sees a majority with the executive. Included in this are the Head of the Army and Police… e) Since his election the executive have avaoided reacting to provocations and becoming intrapped. Yet the warlords have sent troops to battle in Baidoa[inda Cade] and have taken part in the Lower Mudug fighting[Ato]. In Dayniile there has been clashes involving [Qaynyare], Madina involving Yalaxow and a few others in which Bootan Calim and otheres where involved. Other incidents have been between clans and not political such as those in Ceel Waaq and across the Kenyan border and even in region Five. One cannot find a single incident in which the TNG fought. Yet the peace process in Galkacyu broken by Mogadishu elements can be attributed to the government. F) An irresponsible assertion, Somalia needs troops. Both police and military to guard our people and our land, from toxic waste, road blocks and basic forms of criminality the most important issues for the Somali people is law, order and security. So I agree with the troops, troops and more troops for a country with no central security authority is not a country. G) Again self delusion must not be mistaken for reality. The President has nothing to gain from the instability of any part of Somalia least of all his home town of Galkacyu. Yes there are vendettas but there is no all out clashes between the clans of Galkacyu, not even between the folks of North and South. h) The PM has done a marvellous job the naming of governor Cade was a master stroke, and the new nominations of Hiiraan are important. I suggest we let the PM do his job. All regions will be apoointed a regional administration until such time as the federal framework is worked out. Alluding to Puntland wont matter much as that part has chosen through elections its own local government while the people of Banadir, Hiiraan and else where have yet to apply their god given right. Insha Allah whtye will soon,

General Duke Posted July 20, 2005 Rice plugs US-Africa trade deal Condoleezza Rice said trade could bring wealth to Africa US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said trade could help lift Africa out of poverty, as she talked up a US-Africa trade deal in Senegal. Ms Rice said aid could help development but was not sufficient on its own, and that open markets would create wealth. Ms Rice is due to fly on to Sudan and to visit a refugee camp in Darfur. She repeated the US assessment of the conflict there as "genocide". She will also visit Israel and the West Bank to press for peace. Sorbet and tuna In Dakar, the Senegalese capital, Ms Rice announced increased US funding for African countries under Washington's African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), a programme that removes export duties on thousands of products shipped from the continent to the US. An extra $1m (£580,000) in grants would be made available to help West African nations improve transportation safety and infrastructure, Ms Rice said. She said the programme had helped increase non-oil African exports to the US by 22% between 2003 and 2004. "AGOA benefits everyone. African businesses create more, better-paying jobs. And American consumers receive more goods at lower prices - products like sorbet from South Africa, wood carvings from Tanzania, and tuna from right here in Senegal," she said. Critics say the majority of AGOA exports are oil-related, providing tariff-free fuel to US consumers. Call for action On Darfur, Ms Rice repeated her predecessor Colin Powell's assessment, saying: "The United States believes that by our accounts it was and is genocide." The United Nations has refused to adopt the term. She called for "action" from the Sudanese government to end the conflict and stabilise the region. Condoleezza Rice met Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade in Dakar Senegalese Foreign Minister Cheikh Tidiane Gadio criticised the African Union for not moving quickly enough to stop the bloodshed, accusing it of touting an African solution to the crisis but failing to come up with the goods. During her trip to Sudan Ms Rice will meet President Omar al-Bashir and Vice President John Garang, and express support for the peace deal that brought the two together and ended the civil war in the south of Sudan. The trip is Ms Rice's first to Africa since she took over as secretary of state earlier this year. However, her visit has been cut short so that she can visit Israel and the West Bank later this week. The Middle East trip is a sign of US concern about an upsurge in violence, BBC correspondent Jonathan Beale says.
