Kampala: Indhacade Kidnapped

Recommended Posts

Juje

Ok guys this is the news....Indhacadde was on an unofficial visit to Kampala since two days now - he went this afternoon to attend a meeting organised by Somali community to address. The organisers did not have a permit to hold such meeting neither was he cleared to address any crowd gathering. Plain Clothes arrested him briefly and was released shortly by the government after it was established he was a minister of the Somali government. That is the version I have so far.

Any further details will brief you in the morning I have to sleep now.

The official story of Mr indhacade saga is they thought he was kidnapped by unknown gun-men because this is what somali government representatives and indhacade relatives were saying.

However the case is he has been detained and ugandan army colonel commented and said "he came to uganda with unclear reasons". Indhacade family are saying they believe now the case is over illegal paperwork.

Uganda security detains Somali minister of state

07/10/2009 00:06

By Justin Dralaze

KAMPALA (Reuters) - Ugandan security forces bundled Somalia's state minister for defence into a car and detained him at an undisclosed location in the capital Kampala on Tuesday.

The incident initially triggered fears among relatives and colleagues that Sheikh Yusuf Mohammad Siad, a former warlord also known as "Inda'ade" or "white eyes," had been kidnapped by Islamist insurgents or a foreign intelligence service.

But Uganda's military spokesman told Reuters local security forces had detained him because his visit aroused suspicion.

"It is true. He is in our hands. He came here for unclear reasons and we picked an interest in him. You can't come here as a high profile person without notice," Lieutenant Colonel Felix Kulayigye told Reuters. He declined to give more details

Waa nin badow ah, yesterday he was encouraging AMISON troops to be killed and now that he changed sides he though he could slip into Uganda unannouced. People like Indhacada are like cancer in the govt of Sharif, the sooner they are discarded the better for the TFG.
