nuune Posted November 6, 2002 ooh,you really reminding me that wonderfull battle,khandaq(trench) also called al-ahzaab(see suuratul ah-zaab) to military point of view,it was one of the successful battles that the Muslims ever faced. as to the idea of diggin the trench or the ditch(khandaq),it was salman alfaarisi who proposed the idea of digging a moat(khandaq) when he and the prohpet consulted together. it also shows that Muslims should use shuura(consultation) during hard times like that one khandaq. the imoprtant of this battle is long and its position in modern history is marvelous. and as u know many wonderfull things happened during this battle but it is long story too. anway ramadan kariim Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
