General Duke Posted March 23, 2009 Against the rule of Faroole? What an abusrd statement, was it not reer Bossaso who lined up for the President only a month ago? This is a security action and will be taken, anyone who has any links with the bombings and assasinations will be dealt with and targeted. Regardless if he has a beard or wears Puma shorts and plays in the beaches. No one is above the law.
Ibtisam Posted March 23, 2009 I don’t approve of hounding shikes and Ulema, its become too easy for warlords, to torture and put behind bars shikes. for no reason other than speaking out. The Ulemas ARE above the man-made laws design to keep warlords in power, because Allah has said they are and should command our respect, they are accountable to Allah’s law more than anyone else, because Allah has blessed them with knowledge and they cannot shy away from telling the truth, even if it goes against the so called government. Sounds like wiixi SL beye Puntiland baarety, must Puntiland repeat ALL of SL mistakes too.
NGONGE Posted March 23, 2009 ^^ Not every sheikh is a caalim, dear Ibti. Don't jump the gun yet. Wali-el-amir here is Mr (Dr?) Faroole and, therefore, nobody is above the law, no matter how big a sheikh he is.
IsseRiyole Posted March 23, 2009 War bal sug balo ha ku dishee, Dr Faroole waa nin jecel dadkiisa iyo dalkiisa PL in ay wax wada qabsadaan oo ay waliba wax taraan dadka soomalida meel walba ay ku sugan yahiin, Dr Faroole waxaan u rajeynaynaa in uu illah wax la qabto oo cadowgiisa baabi'iyo. Amen.

Che -Guevara Posted March 23, 2009 Duke ..PIS is on the payroll of the U.S. To make sure that they remain on the payroll, the PIS made habit for arresting any Shiekh without provocation or any actual threat. These people report directly Jabouti, and they don't answer to Garowe. Garowe maqaarley waaye!
General Duke Posted March 23, 2009 IBTI: Adeer no one is following anyone and the President is close to the Ulema special our biggest sheikhs including Abdulkadir Gacamay. Thus these subtle insinuations are out of place. This is a security crackdown; it should have been dealt with more vigorously to protect the innocent within our society from the fitna of the confused folk. Also I don’t know what Somaaliland does but this is not our problem, we have to address the security issue and in a fair and balanced way.

NGONGE Posted March 23, 2009 What exactly do you have against Faroole, Ibti? Is he not the 'chosen' president of Puntland? Is he not accepted by those that could have easily caused him trouble if they wanted to? For better or worse he is the leader of that entity and therefore he is their wali-el-amir (not Amir as in prince).
peasant Posted March 23, 2009 Wrong it is Puntland Intelligence Service Originally posted by NGONGE: Sounds like P untland I nternal S ecurity or something, Ibti. I think they're missing another S (service). Then it really would be P.I.S.S
General Duke Posted March 23, 2009 Che, what utter nonsense first of all you are incorrect the internal service is a local entity. But if your argument is correct so what? You and your family live in the US, pay taxes to it If the US is so bad why don’t you leave? Your argument is as baseless as your hate for Puntland and its people. Naxar Nugaaleed Posted March 23, 2009 was he kidnapped or arrested? Somalis claim every to they want dowladnimo, sharci ku daqan and so on but look at them. No one should be above the law and if this sheekh or person is suspected of connections with violent groups he should be question. The id**ts should have taken him out of the city though, maybe send him to mudugh, hear they know how to deal with these kind of people.
rudy-Diiriye Posted March 23, 2009 viva Bossaso brave ones!! time to chase the crazy warlords out the city.
Alle-ubaahne Posted March 24, 2009 The abduction of the scholars/intellectua ls and the religious leaders should always be countered with strong resistance. The reaction of Bosaso city to this incident indicates that our people there have still the strong moral responsibility that is sufficient to defend the leaders of our sacred institutions. With that responsibility, the masses will always stand with the truth the same way they did in Mogadishu when the despicable warlords attempted to abduct our learned people. Allahu Akbar, indeed!
