Meiji Posted May 23, 2010 Very interesting interview. He is arrogant in many ways. 1) On the Nile issue, he was arrogant towards Egypt. ''They can't stop the unstopable'' 2) On Somalia issue, the interesting part was that he said that Ethiopia wanted to break up the ''united front of Islamists'' and that they are satisfied with the current situation with the Islamists of 2006 fighting against each other like the previous warlords. On the other hand, he is very secretive in disclosing the death toll. Since they invaded Somalia with around 50.000 and occupied Mogadishu with around 30.000 the death toll all over Somalia must be more than 10.000 Ethiopians in the two years of occupation. 3)On the elections issue, he tactfully dismissed the allegations of torture, been oppressive etc and looked confident in winning the next elections without distrubtions. The regime in Addis Abebba has grown arrogant ever since the real challenge from Mogadishu dissapeared. The Nile issue will surely aid Somalia's bid for hegemony in the Horn. Amistad Posted May 23, 2010 River water rights have always been Governed exactly like they should... whomever`s state the river runs through, above and beyond that state, clearly the river belongs to them. If you are left with a trickle, consider yourselves lucky. End of story...clear through history. Does it make it right ? Maybe, maybe not but precedents tell the tale, and are what legal judgments are referenced to.

So, Norfsky and other somalidiids are hypocritical to support Colonial borders when it is convenient
