Taleexi Posted May 13, 2009 Apart of the piece's lack of substance and objectivity. I don’t see any wrong doing on the side of JB. It is up to the reader to validate/invalidate the claims set forth by the author.

Jacaylbaro Posted May 14, 2009 some concepts can work now even if it is from 200 years ago. It depends on how to use them and how applicable. Concerning the topic, all these will only strengthen the Somaliland's position to be an independent state. Those guys need to think if they want to keep the "country" united. Can I ?, pressure on the Goverment aa? You mean the SL goverment funds these refugees? You do know that most of the AID funds have been poured into SL and PL due to the fact that they are relatively calmer and in peace to the much needed areas in the Southern Somalia? Tell me how many NGO's are in SL? How much of the funds given by the EU goes into SL[not as a country but as SOMALIA]?

NGONGE Posted May 14, 2009 No Malika, it does not fund anyone. I said an 'admin' point of view. Keep your hijab on now. As for all the rest, isn't that the whole point of the article? That these areas are calmer and therefore their efforts to keep the peace should be recognised (and rewarded). This recognition (reward) can be interpreted in a number of ways; we chose to receive it in the form of international recognition, you chose to view it as EU money for AIDS. Either way, articles such as the above one do clearly have a point.

Emperor Posted May 14, 2009 Lool @ nationalities, if that's the case then we have so many refugees from Hargeisa in Bosaaso and Mogadishu. Actually, the most powerful man in the south today, Mr. Godane, is a refugee from Hargeisa Loool, let's call him a Super refugee
