Peacenow Posted December 12, 2006 I'm a great fan of the the achievements of Somaliland. Even though, I was born in Mogadishu, my parents are from the North. They have achieved a lot in a short time. Such as a democratic type system built threw tribal lines. Sadly, their achievements are not being recognised enough. I would like Somalia, the 'south' to have the same system. Because I think a democractic system, based on the rule of law is the best way forward. Just look at the rest of the world, where this system is in place and how far they have achieved. So I ask, Are you in favour of a Somali Democracy? Based on separation between religion and the state, free market economy, and the rule of law?
