The Clan Courts have on a number of occasions declared war on Baidoa. Their Amir Xasan Turki even stated it publicly with the words like "I tell the truth unlike some of my friends, we will take Baidoa, Puntland and Somaliland". Mr Roobow Abu Mansoor and Macalin Xashi have alos said they will attack Baidoa soon and so on.

 

The fuel embargo is another celebrated moment, though it tunrs out it only hurts local traders and not the TFG troops.

The Bay regions districts have all beeen elected by locals of the region including Bur-Hakabo, hence the action of the clan courts was aggression in itself and broke the Khartum agreement.

Actually, all the above news articles got their cue from AFP news article hence the followed up mixed up. What you have here is multiple Somali websites that feed off each other, plagiarism of reports en masse'. If the primary gets details of the news wrong, they all follow the same path. This is what has happened in this instance.

 

MMA , coming back to the issue of the bombing, I condemn it unequivocally and I do not welcome such acts on anyone- Muslim or non-Muslim. The ugly and tragic consequences of these acts shows the ugly game Meles is playing within Somalia with the help of some Somalis.
