Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed was the personification of bravery, a man of steel in a time led by weaklings and vagabonds dressed as princess.

 

Yusuf told the truth, about so many issues that it is daunting to go over them. Regarding the terrorist ambitions of the fake religious warlords he was spot on. The target of the first suicide bombing in Somali history he went on to devastate his enemies. To the illicit and corrupt traders in the Bakara he was spot on and highlighted truthfully that it was the epicenter of anti government activity.

 

Yet when Yusuf was telling the truth many led by the hapless Sharif Motel defended Al Shabab and the Bakara market. The irony of the age is , that today Mr Sharif shells the Bakara and hides from the Al Shabaab terrorists that have exposed him to be the ignorant coward that he is.

 

Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, faced a coalition of warlord, fake religious groups and a population drunk on fake clan pride detriment to their own vested interests. He visited and spoke to the people of Beledweyne, Baidoa, Jowhar, and Mogadishu and retained the unquestioning loyalty of his base of Puntland which covers more than 1/3 of Somalia.

 

Yusuf was old and sick, but he was a man of clear thinking and comfortable in his own person, never fake, never wavering and never in doubt about the goal of his mission the restoration of the state by any means necessary.

 

Yes he used the Ethiopians as his enemies used Eritrea, yes he used AMISOM. But Yusuf had his own army, men loyal to him who were around him at all times, he had outlined a policy to create a new army from scratch.

 

It was the Ethiopians who unable to contain the old warrior coupled with the NGO’s of Nairobi that started to put pressure on him and prop up their puppets and simpletons. Yusuf left due to the calculation that he would spare what remained and that it was time to retire due to ill health.

 

It is important to note this man was above all a true patriot who fought for his nation with distinction in 1964 [decorated] and 1977 when he was vanguard for the army.

 

Yusuf was asked to sign the deal that Kenya managed to get from Sharif Hotel and he snubbed them, this is the true actions of the man, who vilified for nothing else but for his unwavering strength and ambition.

The Sharif Ahmed comedy disguised as a legitimate government has come to halt, no longer amusing just terrifying. His main supporters mostly gullible folks in the west and some blind clanists in the republic have become saddened ash faced unable to look anyone in the eye.

 

This man is so hopeless he is unable to articulate a single policy, delegating this to the office of Walid Abdalla in Nairobi.

 

By any human measure he has failed more than anyone even Ali Mahdi & Abdiqasin who held the records for incompetence have nothing on Sharif Hotel.

 

He has no base, not a single village of his clan, even his birthplace is not in his hands all are controlled by Al Shabaab who rested it from him while he was President and had the support of the world.

 

The Ethiopians his supporters so hated are in Hiiraan with a permanent presence and walk into its capital when ever they want. Yet there are no demonstrations, no protests no religious sermons and no outcry for this.

 

The human suffering under Sharif Hotels time is even worse than any age before, more displaced, more killed more assassination and more graves desecrated the living are in terror and the dead corpses are toys to impress far away benefactors.

 

Mr Hotel’s lack of courage, purpose or insight is not matched by his greed, his appointment of the corrupt and illiterate Sharif Xasan as finance minister, a man who is under qualified both ethically & educationally to hold such a post is a clear indication that Mr Hotel means business.

 

The fact on the ground is this man controls only Villa Somalia and that is with the help of AMISOM.

 

This assessment is based on his 11 months long pretence of being the Somali President.
