LadyFatima Posted October 29, 2001 SCWW All, Walaahi Everything I read in this articles almost seems to be familiar! a lot of the Minor signs we already have them in this century... Lets just hope that we would be gone when the Major sings are seen.....Subxana'alaah..... I use to remember my grandmother saying... "Allow ha na dhigin xiligia Qiyaamaha" I say the same now... I found these 2different articles about the End of time.. They're about the Same but have more or less of the Signs of Qiyamah.... Plz Read. In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful Signs Before the Day of Judgement Surely, knowledge of the Hour is with Allah alone. Holy Qur’an 31:34 In light of the common links between Judeo-Christian and Islamic traditions and teachings, it is interesting to look at what is said regarding the Day of Judgement and the signs of its approach. Judeo-Christian sources mainly consist of the Book of Daniel, Ezekiel, and the Book of Revelations, as well as some scattered sources within other books of the Old and New Testaments. Islamic sources include the Qur'an and the multiple volumes of the sayings and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), called ahadith. There are many similarities between what these great traditions say regarding the signs of the Day of Judgement. Even a minimal exposure to Judeo-Christian signs of the End of Time is enough to see that many of the same prophesies exist in the Islamic tradition. However, the differences are important to point out. Much of the Judeo-Christian teaching regarding these signs are based on frequent reinterpretations of vague Scripture. Whereas the signs enumerated by Islamic sources are quite clear and concrete, with little, if any, room for interpretation. In addition, the vastness of the material available within the Islamic tradition points to the finality of Allah's Message. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Last Messenger sent to humanity, said that Allah has never sent a messenger who did not warn his people about al-Masih ad-Dajjal (the AntiChrist). And it only follows that Allah would give the Last Messenger the most information relating to this subject, as his followers will be the ones experiencing these signs. What follows is a small sample of the signs which Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) enumerated for us. They have been divided into minor and major signs... The Minor Signs: The disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance (Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Majah, & Ahmad) Books/writing will be widespread and knowledge will be low (Ahmad) Adultery and fornication will be prevalent (The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that this has never happened without new diseases befalling the people, which their ancestors had not known.) (Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Majah, & Al-Haythami) When fornication becomes widespread among your leaders (The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that this will happen when the people stop forbidding evil) (Ibn Majah) Adultery and fornication will be performed in the open The consumption of intoxicants will be widespread (Bukhari & Muslim) Women will outnumber men......eventually 50:1 (Bukhari, Muslim, & Ahmad) Killing, killing, killing (Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Majah, & Ahmad) People will beat others with whips like the tails of oxen (Muslim) ?The Slave Trade The children will be filled with rage (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) Children will be foul (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) Women will conspire (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) Rain will be acidic or burning (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) Children of fornication will become widespread or prevalent (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) When a trust becomes a means of making a profit (at-Tirmidhi, Al-Haythami) Gains will be shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor (at-Tirmidhi) Paying zakat becomes a burden and miserliness becomes widespread; charity is given reluctantly (at-Tirmidhi & Al-Haythami) Miserliness will be thrown into the hearts of people (Bukhari) Episodes of sudden death will become widespread (Ahmad) There will be people who will be brethren in public but enemies in secret (He was asked how that would come about and replied, "Because they will have ulterior motives in their mutual dealings and at the same time will fear one another.") Masih ad-Dajjal (The AntiChrist) The Mahdi The appearance of Masih al-’Isa (Jesus Christ), the son of Mary (peace be upon him) Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog) The destruction of the Ka’bah and the recovery of its treasure Emergence of the Beast The smoke Three major landslides (one in the East, one in the West, and one on the Arabian peninsula) The wind will take the souls of the believers The rising of the sun from the west The fire will drive the people to their final gathering place Three blasts of the trumpet (fear & terror, death, resurrection) ------------------------------------ 2nd part. Qiyamah will come when... Hadhrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (R.A.) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhii Wassallam) said, "Qiyamah will come... * When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions. * When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy. * When it will be hot in winter (and vice versa). * When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours. * When orators and lecturers lie openly. * When people dispute over petty issues. * When women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring, and barren women remain happy on account of having no responsibility of offspring. * When oppression, jealousy, and greed become the order of the day. * When people blatantly follow their passions and whims. * When lies prevail over the truth. * When violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common. * When immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly. * When legislation matters pertaining to Deen is handed over to the worst elements of the Ummat, and if people accept them and are satisfied with their findings, then such persons will not smell the fragrance of Jannat. * When the offspring become a cause of grief and anger (for their parents). The following is part of a lengthy Hadith narrated by Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (R.A.) when he inquired from Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) about the Signs of Qiyamah. * Music and musical instruments will be found in every home. * People will indulge in homosexuality. * There will be an abundance of illegitimate children. * There will be an abundance of critics, tale-carriers, back- biters and taunters in society. * People will establish ties with strangers and sever relations with their near and dear ones. * Hypocrites will be in control of the affairs of the community and evil, immoral people will be at the helm of business establishments. * The Masjid will be decorated, but the hearts of the people will be devoid of guidance. * The courtyards of Masjids will be built beautifully and high mimbars (pulpits) will be erected. * Gangsters and evil people will prevail. * Various wines will be consumed excessively. Auf bin Malik (R.A.) says: I came to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) while he was in his skin tent during the Tabuk expedition. He said to me, "Count six things before the advent of Qiyamah: 1 My death 2 The conquest of Jerusalem 3 Mass deaths amongst you people, just as when sheep die in large numbers during an epidemic 4 Abundance of wealth to such an extent that if a person were to be given a hundred Dinars he will still not be satisfied 5 General anarchy and bloodshed, that no Arab household will be spared from it 6 Then a life of peace as a result of a peace agreement between you and the Banil Asfaar (Romans) which they will break and attack you with a force consisting of eighty flags and under each flag will be an army of twelve thousand men." (Hadith: Sahih Bukhari). IRAQ and SYRIA Abu Nadhrah says: "We were sitting in the company of Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A.) when he said: 'Soon the people of IRAQ will neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'" We asked, "Why would such a thing happen?" He replied, "Because of the non-Arabs." (i.e they will prevent food from going into Iraq, in the form of "sanctions" to this day.) He then said: "Soon the people of Shaam (SYRIA) will neither receive any money nor grain." We asked as to why this would happen. He replied: "Because of the Romans (christians)." CONCEITED PEOPLE: Hadhrat Abbas (R.A) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) has said, "Islam will spread far and wide, across the seas. Horses will cross the land and seas in the cause of Jihaad. Then a time will come wherein a group of people will emerge which recites the Quraan. They will claim, 'We have recited the Quraan and is there anyone who understands the Quraan better than us? There is NO ONE more proficient than us in the study of the Quraan.' Then Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) asked the Sahaba, "Do you see any good in their claims?" The Sahaba replied, "No". Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) said, "But these conceited claimants will be from my Ummah and will be the fuel of the Fire." from "Signs of Qiyamah" (excerpts) by Mohammed Ali Ibn Zubair Ali ------------------ "To understand others you should get behind their eyes and walk down their spine." Salafi_Online Posted April 28, 2005 As-Salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa baarakatu, Abdullah Ibn Hudhafah As-Sahmi His meeting with the Byzantine emperior took place during the caliphate of Umar ibn alKhattab. It too is an astonishing story. In the nineteenth year after the Hijrah, Umar despatched an army to fight against the Byzantines. In it was Abdullah ibn Hudhafah. News of the Muslim force reached the Byzantine emperior. He had heard of their sincerity of faith, and their willingness to sacrifice their lives in the way of God and His Prophet. He gave orders to his men to bring to him any Muslim captive they might take alive. Inshallah that Abdullah ibn Hudhafah should fall captive to the Byzantines and he was brought before the Emperor. The Emperor looked at Abdullah for a long time. Suddenly he said, " I shall make a proposal to you." "What is it ?" asked Abdullah. " I suggest that you become a Christian. If you do this, you will be set free and I shall grant you a safe refuge." The prisoner's reaction was furious: " Death is preferable to me a thousand times to what you ask me to do. " "I see that you are a bold man. However, if you respond positively to what I propose to you, I will give you a share in my authority and swear you in as my aide." The prisoner, shackled in his chains, smiled and said, " By God, if you give me all that you possess and all that the Arabs have in exchange for giving up the religion of Muhammad, I shall not do so ." "Then I shall kill you." "Do what you want," answered Abdullah. The emperor then had him put on a cross and ordered his soldiers to throw spears at him, first near his hands and then near his feet, all the while telling him to accept Christianity or at least give up his religion. This he refused over and over again to do. The emperor then had him taken down from the wooden cross. He called for a great pot to be brought. This was filled with oil which was then heated under a fierce fire. He then had two other Muslim prisoners brought and had one of them thrown into the boiling oil. The prisoner's flesh sizzled and soon his bones could be seen. The emperor turned to Abdullah and invited him to Christianity. This was the most terrible test that Abdullah had had to face up till now. But he remained firm and the emperor gave up trying. He then ordered that Abdullah too be thrown into the pot. As he was being taken away he began to shed tears. The emperor thought that he had at last been broken and had him brought back to him. He once more suggested that Abdullah become a Christian but to his astonishment, Abdullah refused. " Damn you! Why did you weep then?" shouted the emperor . "I cried," said Abdullah, " because I said to myselfÑ 'You will now be thrown into this pot and your soul will depart'. What I really desired then was to have as many souls as the number of hairs on my body and to have all of them thrown into this pot for the sake of God ." The tyrant then said, "Will you kiss my head? I will then set you free?" "And all the Muslim prisoners also?" asked Abdullah. This the emperor agreed to do and Abdullah said to himself, "One of the enemies of God! I shall kiss his head and he shall set me and all other Muslim prisoners free. There can be no blame on me for doing this." He then went up to the emperor and kissed his forehead. All the Muslim prisoners were released and handed over to Abdullah. Abdullah ibn Hudhafah eventually came to Umar ibn alKhattab and told him what had happened. Umar was greatly pleased and when he looked at the prisoners he said, " Every Muslim has a duty to kiss the head of Abdullah ibn Khudhafah and I shall start ." Umar then got up and kissed the head of Abdullah ibn Hudhafah.

wind.talker Posted April 28, 2005 The leader of a people will be the worst of them (at-Tirmidhi) Leaders of people will be oppressors (Al-Haythami) People will treat a man with respect out of fear for some evil he might do (at-Tirmidhi) Ain't that a fact! Leaders become dictators and dictators rule through fear.
