Kashafa Posted May 12, 2010 Wamaa adaraakum man Shaykh Xasan Daahir Aweys ? In the late sixties to the early seventies, in a military barack, in Mogadsihu a young soldier was summoned for introrrogation as he was caught red handed praying during the training time on public grounds. That young soldier was taken to the officer in charge; Officer: You are accused of refusing to follow Military orders Young Soldier: No, Sir Officer: You were asked to sit down but you got up and deffiantly prayed in full view of all soldiers? Young Soldier: No Sir Officer: How can that be? Young Soldier: You see Sir, In the Military law, if two confling orders is given to a subordinate, the sobordinate must follow the order of the higher ranking officer, right? Officer: thats Right, but who was there to give you permission to override our orders to sit down. Young Soldier: Allah did, it was ASR prayer time, Allah asked me to pray, and the Officer asked me to sit down, i obeyed Allah That young soldier was Sheikh Dahir Aweis If the grizzled Somali Lion, Shaykh Xasan Daahir Aweys was xukun-doon(power-hungry), he would've cut a deal with the Antarnashanal Kaamonity when they were begging him to join the TFG. Unlike the cowards of Al-Ictisaam who are content to be the slaves of Xabashi slaves, or the Sharifite wing of the Maxaakiim, who are happy to be protected by Ugandan tanks, Shakh Xasan has never sold out. And for that 'crime', he is called names like, power-hungry, xukun-doon, extremist, macangag by inferior juhaal who are not fit to wash his feet. When Salaah-ul-Diin was fighting and conquering other Muslim provinces(some who were allied with the invading Crusders), was he being xukun-doon....or was he consolidating men, arms, territory, and resources so that he could launch his brilliant assault on Jerusalem ? Mushkilada ay jahli-ga(ignorance) leedahay waa inoosan qof'ka fakarin oo wuxuu sooqa kasoo maqlo iskaga hadlo.

NGONGE Posted May 13, 2010 Kashafa and Maaddeey are being duplicitous here. The old man is power hungry or else he would not be fighting. He believes (rightly or wrongly) that his way is the correct way and his leadership is the right leadership. To say that you are fighting for a principle yet still argue that your fight is not one for power is nothing but barefaced rhetoric. Guys, by all means defend the man but do not waste your time defending an obvious point and tying yourselves in circular rhetoric that makes you appear dishonest and two-faced. This is really a non-discussion.
Maaddeey Posted May 13, 2010 ^So, you say Ali bin Abi Talib was bower hungry? (isku mid maaha & bla bla ha iila iman.)
NGONGE Posted May 13, 2010 ^^ Yes. War maca nabiga was power hungry. It's all about "Kalimat Allah hiya el culyaa and I am the man that will facilitate this fact". Of course in the prophet's case, he was chosen by a higher authority. The rest (throughout history) chose themselves. Stop being duplictious, saaxib. Meel aan muran jirin bad ka murmaysa. Odeygo wants power because odeygo believes he's the man who will ensure that kalimat Allah hiya el culyaa. Hadii kale, muu iska fadheesto and become an anonymous foot soldier for Al Shabab. Maaddeey Posted May 13, 2010 ^^Naga daa dee, do you think Ayoub et al. mean this when they call him power hungry?. Sidaas oy tahay power hungry lama yiraahdo Nin diraciisa uu ku qabsaday Yahuudi ee maxkamad la tegay!! ama Nin isagoo dahabkii & luulkii Ruum & Furs helay, reerkiisa dhar quruxsan oy martida ku soo dhoweyso waayey ama Nin ka doortay inuu dagaalamo isagoo mansab adduun ka heli kara Weld Abdalla!. NGONGE Posted May 13, 2010 ^^ War aniga kuwaan kale kama hadlaayo dee. Waxanaan ka hadlayaa: Hoggaamiyaha Xisbul Islaam wuxuu sheegay in dagaalkooda uusan ahayn mid ay ku doonayaan xukun, balse uu yahay mid ay ku doonayaan in diinta Alle lagu xukumo dalka, sidaa daraadeedna aanay rumeysnayn in dagaalkoodu yahay Fidno. Now go back to my previous post and see why I think you're arguing over nothing.
