Sabriye amp co. Posted January 21, 2008 Duke For a little bit of advantage in the eyes of west you would trade for the blood of your people. Secondly If you are to sustain the governmental banner you need the trust and support of your Somali people NOT THOUSANDS OF ETHIOPIANS to guard you in your each and every step, allowing you to feel advantaged. A government is nothing with out its people. Clan base support is useful short term and finite. This is what warlords enjoyed and it ran out and that’s where it looks to be heading. BTW, whats Mogadishu people? Are you referring to clan? Well what’s most certain is. Any militia that did not have its roots in Mogadishu before the Ethiopian occupation won’t stick around for too long as it won’t have a tank to hide behind or a wall of Ugandans to seek cover after carrying out butcher spree of innocent Somalis. That’s common sense. Any civilian that moved t Mogadishu as a resident (very unlikely) under the occupation most likely wont be noticed. There are bigger issues like bringing back the sovereignty of Somalia and Reconciling with northern entity as well as other Somali groups..
General Duke Posted January 21, 2008 Galbayte, you have answered it in one. Mogadishu does not belong to clan adeer, its the capital of Somalia. As for the distorted comments about Ethiopians guarding the TFG, they supported the TFG to counter Asmara's support. Now as for tanks, they can be purchased, loaned and as for the army its getting built. What you do not seem to understand is the TFG will soon have its own armed forces much more powerful than any clan militia. This has been done in every country, Ethiopia, Uganda, Burundi. Adeer, reconciliation, is happening under TFG, and as for civilain rights, it was under the TFG that the clan yoke of IndaCade and the clan courts was take. A simple example is lower shabbele and Banadir which are now run by the inhabitants and not Inadcade, Daylaaf, Xaf and other gangsters. The TFG project is irreversable, even those who lost their farms, homes and lands in 1991 are coming back
Thierry. Posted January 21, 2008 When the Ethiopian troops leave the clan courts supporters will say all non Mogadishu clans should also leave. lool Sahiib you are going to die of a heart attack soon this fear and suspicion is unhealthy, we told you yesterday we tell you today and if Yey and his likes don’t pay heed we tell you tomorrow there is no negotiation when the country occupied. Amazing how someone can call himself a nationalist yet not trust his own people, sahib get rid of the safety net (Ethiopia) and like a real man come to the negotiations table that’s all the Somali people are asking for. The leaders of the past irrespective how their term went never needed foreign forces in Somali soil part those who till this day are spoken of as traitors. Ps how can you win on the ballot if you can not possibly win on the battle field without Ethiopian help, after all support is support
General Duke Posted January 21, 2008 ^^^Adeer I trust my own people, Those in Bakool, Mudug, Lower Shabbale, Hiiraan, Puntland, those from unarmed groups but I do not trust IndaCade, Ahmed Diriye and Xasan dahir Aways and their master Aferwarki. These people turned Mogadishu into a dustbin all these 17 years. They were anti governemnt and attacked the TFG using this same excuse to hide nothing more than clan centric politics. Also no one is worried, the governemnt of Somali's has gained an advantage using the Ethiopinans, Ugandans, and international supoport. Now our army will take its place and deal with this group who are now isolated and crying, ethiopia, puntland, blah.
Seekknowledge Posted January 22, 2008 while he was away in hajj by Mr. trigger happy Indha Cadde Is this the Sharia Law he wants to bring to Somalia? He doesn't even know when is wajib to go to Hajj unless it was part of the plan all along to send teenagers to the slaughter house then they can claim Ethiopians are killing our children. The same way they are doing right now shoot and run from civilian places and leave the poor people at the mercy of mercenaries.
