Saalax Posted April 19, 2010 Rudy-Diiriye, the roads are for the cars mainly, a walking pavement will be also made for the pedestrians like a modern city.

Saalax Posted April 21, 2010 Horta, i can't wait the day there is a smooth straight road between Harygesa-Oodweyne-Burco there won't be a need to bypass sheikh & berbera anymore, most people would use this road since it's quicker then the triangle road of hargeysa - berbera - burco. Jacaylbaro Posted April 21, 2010 I wish that road could be constructed as soon as possible ....... I've been trying to advocate for that but with no positive signal from any side.
Saalax Posted April 21, 2010 Jacaylbaro, well the people of that deegaan have learned not to rely on the government, so instead they are setting up their own plans and fundraising for that road, that is what the june meeting is about also Maydh port, and a road connecting Burco - Erigavo - Maydh, i have hope in the diaspora and the natives that they can do something the government can't, the only government roads that are constructed are those in hargeysa and burco, those cities not roads connecting regions, towns etc, so i say it's time everybody waked up and realise they have do most of the work for themselfs since the government is very lazy and are not doing the job they should be doing in neglected places, such as sanaag region the biggest region in somaliland without roads.
