International Observers Notice SSC

As always the UNIONIST Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn population is unyielding to its opposition to the one clan based Somaliland enclave. This firm opposition is once again demonstrated in SSC’s effective boycott to the enclaves latest maneuver and attempt to claim the conduct of a deceptive presidential election. As has been reported earlier the SSC regions of Somalia have successfully blocked the futile exercise and confiscated hundreds of clan ballot boxes – better known in those territories clan ballot dust bins.

The realities on the ground indicate the miserable failure of the secessionists getting away with the misrepresentation of facts. Reuters on June 28. 2010 reports the concern of international observers regarding the Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn Regions of Somalia. Reuters quotes a member of the international observers and writes in its website, Africa Section the following:

“The unwillingness of portions of the electorate to participate in the polls in Sool and East Sanag was a matter of concern,” Hein said. Remember, the Cayn region is completely off limits for the one clan secessionist Somaliland.

Still, the SSC populations and leaders are cautioning the international community not to be fooled by the reports of international observers in this so called election, because they consist of almost ISSAK Diaspora, foreign individuals and organization sympathetic to the ISSAK’s secession project. These foreign individuals and organizations are known as the friends of Somaliland – the friends of the ISSAK Clan.

However, it appears the Reuters has not fully catch up with the developments in the Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn Regions of Somalia. In their report mentioned above, Reuters characterizes the SSC as disputed between the tribally based Puntland and Somaliland regional administrative regions of Somalia. The fact of the matter, SSC territory is no longer contested between Puntland and Somaliland – That chapter is a bye gone history.

As an alternative, the citizens of Sool, Sanaag, and cayn Regions of Somalia have set up a third administrative region of their own with its executive, legislative, judiciary branches and security forces as well. Likewise, the usage of the phrase “portions of the electorate in the SSC regions” is completely misplaced, as they have nothing to do with ISSAK secessionist agenda and regional administration they call Somaliland. Hopefully, Reuters and other Mainstream Media would take note and set the record straight.

SSC Civilians Display The Somaliland Clan Militia Voting Boxes

he senior SSC peacekeepers brought home the Somaliland Clan Militia voting boxes, to show the world that SSC people are against any clan voting. SSC people demanded the boxes should be destroyed due to the immense hate in the SSC region for the Somaliland Clan Militia, however, the boxes are kept to show the international media the strong patriotism in the SSC region for Somalia.

SSC civilians have already destroyed 34 Somaliland Clan Militia Boxes, the future of these remaining 5 boxes are unknown, according to our reporter, civilians are demanding that these boxes should be burnt, to honour those that have lost their lives in the hands of the Somaliland Clan Militia. SSC authorities have not yet confirmed the actions to be taken.
