General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 ^^^6 Months of peace they say... There was a media crackdown, murder of a journalist, a nunn and a few other Somali civilians inside Mogadishu. 1. There were battles in Beledweyne, Jowhar Bandiradlay throught these six months. 2. They attacked Kismayu which resulted in the battles if Buaale which killed many armed individuals, also remmeber the prisoners shott dead. In Kismayu the clan clowns murdered the rep of Djibouti airlines 3. There were millitary build ups and skirmishes in Bay region and suicide car bombs in Baidoa. 4. The occupation of the lower Shabbele, continued throught the six months, and IndaCade, Cirfor, Goobanle, Seeraar were promoted within the clan clowns circles.. 5. What some now call the "Minute war" in which the TFG & Ethiopia chased the clan clowns across the country.. What peace was there in the six months the clan clowns were in control of Mogadishu.. Gordon Gekko Posted March 18, 2007 lol one could wonder yes.
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 Compare this to the TFG's 2 months in Mogadishu. 1. Quite in Baidoa 2. Quite in Beledweyne 3.Quite in Mudug 4.Quite in Bakool 5. Quite in Kismayu.. 6. Quite in 85% of Mogadishu..The air, seaports are open and all the police stations and prisons are open.
N.O.R.F Posted March 18, 2007 All that might, all that 'support' and all the piggyback ride laters and Xamar is still not peaceful after three months with 3 military forces. The courts had and maintained peace for 6 months with limited resources. People walked the streets unarmed and enjoyed times at the beach with their families. Beat that ya Xabashi riders! Gordon Gekko Posted March 18, 2007 lol ppl enjoyed times at the beach with their families? must have been a mens-only family gathering since women were prohibited from beaches. The same goes for the "unarmed" claim. You probably meant that they didnt sport rifles but had a discrete pistol under the cimamah.
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 ^^^Well of course the picture you paint is as false as your new found Somalinimo. Horn Afrik & Shabbele words repeated is not fact.. People today in Mogadishu go about their business unarmed, yet the clan clowns are the ones sending missiles into populated areas.. Like they used to send suicide bombers to Baidoa..This has stopped and so will this new tactic. The TFG is nation wide entity and is dealing with a decade long problem. Taking incremental steps. Its not a regional or like the clan courts a single city organisation.. Also the clan courts let the occupation continue, let the looted properties be kept, did not create an admin. Thus the governemnt is not going to allow all that nonsnece and hence the unpopularity in some quarters..
N.O.R.F Posted March 18, 2007 ^^Ahh the ridicule escape route ey ya Economist? Duke, so you admit there is no peace in Xamar today. Does'nt matter 'how' there is no peace. The fact is there is no peace! You know i'm right, i know you know that i'm right. Infact I know that you know that i know i'm right
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 ^^^Yeah you are right, the clan clowns jacked Ali Mahdis car. Killed a number of business men. Including a prominent man from Dayniile. His killer was flown out by IndaCade & Cirfo. So many carless murders and fake jihad calls. You are as always wrong and you seem to be forever ill-informed even SOL has not changed that secesionist mindset of thinking..
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 Mogadishu has only a security problem one left behind by the former occupants who ran away and gave the guns to the clans. The TFG cabinet & executive are residing in Mogadishu. The reconciliation conference is scheduled to be held in Mogadishu in less than a month. Thus underlining our confidance.. General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 Northerner. Is the country less peaceful then when the clan clowns were around?
N.O.R.F Posted March 18, 2007 I am right yes. There is NO peace in Xamar today even with three forces in place.
N.O.R.F Posted March 18, 2007 Depends on your definition of peace ya Duke.
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 ^^^So Mogadishu is the country of Somalia?
General Duke Posted March 18, 2007 Dont skirt around the issue. Compared to when the clown courts were around is the country less peaceful or more? Consider Kismayu, Beledweyne, Baidoa, Cadaado, Buaale and so on?
