nuune Posted November 12, 2009 Africa, anywhere they go, is there land, you would have done the same by either crossing puntland, or settling there etc. Soomaali baa la wada yahay, meel kastood ka tagtana waad ka dagi kartaa ood ku noolaan kartaa, despite all this confusing political mixtures, you would still find people from somaliland living in puntland and other areas of the south, and same for puntland, you will fnid them living in somaliland and other parts of south somalia, same goes for all regions of somalia. Dhulka waa wada Soomaali, Soomaalina wey is dhax dagtaa, meel kastaadna ka dagi kartaa xataa ayadoo jirto siyaasado qabyaaladeed.

Saalax Posted November 13, 2009 Haji Xandjuf - be patient on those masakiin refuuges they haven't done anything laakinse blame the UN for their ignorant behaviour and the sheikh dalxis government who are always blocking UN aid to somaliland , if they are going to block the aid for somaliland how are we going to help those refuuges? ****** politicians of the south caqli malaha. RedSea Posted November 13, 2009 It would be better for these suffering masses to go to Kenya since they cant get help from the UN in somaliland. They are not recognized as refugees but IDPs so the UN doesnt count them as refugees. The people who moved to Somaliland were mostly dad ladan oo bussiness leh, laakin danyarta aan waxba haysan way fiicnaan lahayd in lagan qabto. Dadku waa dhiigeeniyee yaa lafogayn. Blessed Posted November 13, 2009 Why should they go to Kenya? I haven't heard any positive stories from the Kenya camps and wouldn't wish that on anyone. If SL and the UN were truly concerned for the well being of these people, they would find other solutions. Perhaps overlook the identity of the needy and address it as issue of poverty in SL. Poverty, lack of employment is a major issue in SL regardless of which region the residents come from a joint initiative with the UN to address this would benefit 'refugees' and SLers alike. I wish politicians weren't so petty!
RedSea Posted November 13, 2009 ^Somaliland can't even help itself let alone support mass exodus of people from the South. The UN wont recognize these people as refugees but IDPs who just moved from point A to point B within their country, so they wont help. The Kenyan refugees camps are their best bet right now. Many SOLers were previously Kakumo residents remember and look where they have ended up.

RedSea Posted November 13, 2009 Well these people are in a tough situation. But since they already made the loong trek all the way to Somaliland than May God help them where they are. Thanks to JB constant Pr here on SOL the poor folks thought Somaliland was a pradise much like most of Kakumo residents thought America was pradise because of Hollywood movies.
