Time required to partake in these never ending discussions unfortunately has not been quite a commodity on my side. Besides, one could never compete timewise with the UB40 lads and lasses of Europe. On top of that if it is intelligent dialogue we are to have, one could be tempted to contribute and perhaps learn from one another, but if it all comes down to “elementary level common sense, uninformed opinions, uneducated narratives, and drivel of homegrown balderdash”, not only does it pollute the spirit, but it also soil the mind, thus one is better off abstaining, or simply observing for the occasional line or two. Fact 1)Puntland as a whole is in the meeting oppositiona and government. 2) The TNG or ART is there 3) HIIRAAN and all their leaders are there 4)Mohamed Dhere and JOWHAR are there 5)Hussein Aydeed, Osman Ato, Qaynyare, Musa Sudi Yalaxow, Hillowle Iman Omar, AND all the USC are there 5) The SSNM and the Dir Grouping are there, C/lahi Shiekh Ismail and Abdi warsame Issaq. 6) The RRA are there all two factions and splinter groups. 7) Reer XAMAR, Jareerweyn and all the southern groups are there. 8) Somali religious griups are there. 9) Women groups are there 10)The NGOs and parties concerned with Somalia are there. 11) Alot of NW ppl are there, General Ghalib, BUBA, KALLUN and countless ones. Full reprsentation of The North Esat Central, South East and South West are there, and this is ulike any of the 13 other meetings. SO IS THIS MY HYPE OR FACTS ON THE GROUND? You must be able to analyse the situation correctly not believe that everything will play out as it did before. In Somalia today people ARE NOT DIVIDED ON CLAN LINES ANYMORE. People are ready to work for the restoration of the country. Look at this meeting in Niarobi , it has taken more than nine months but it has survived for nine months and that in itself is success. It is in a neutral country and the whole world is supporting it, this is also an important so take note. With the regards to the administrations, have you heard of Puntland? Who created it Somali people did, those you call “Illiterates”. It has a capital, parliament and administrative districts it even has this in LAS ANO and BUHUDLE. It has hospitals, university and a large Police force. My dear it is self funded by its people and not by any donor nations. What is suggested is not a miracle but that 3 0r 4 other states similar to Puntland be formed. These would be unites as GEORGIA is to NEW YORK in a UNION. This federal government would establish embassies and missions through the world and this would gain funding and investment for the country as a whole. Those who suffer from illusions of grandeur will not understand any of this, as they are to concerned with forever messaging the ego of their clans. The benefit of this for Somalia is to create states which can best meet the local priorities of the people and give them direct democracy. My dear ANOTHER FACT THERE IS NO FACTION OR REGIONAL ADMINSTRATION WHICH IS ABSENT FROM THE MEETING. 80% OF SOMALIA IS PRESENT TODAY, FOR THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SUCH THING HAS TAKEN PLACE, NOT EVEN IN ARTA DID THIS HAPPEN.
