TFG has failed. What is next the next step for Somalia?

TFG has failed.

 

It only controls a few buildings. There is only 4 months left till the mandate of the TFG finishes.

 

The international community(EU, USA) are not willing to finance any extension after this period.

 

The AU lacks the funding to finance the foreign troops and the TFG without western support. Even the increase of AU troops couldnt be financed.

 

There seems to be no dialogue between TFG and AS. That can give to peace negotiation.

 

Shariif knows this, that is why he is making the best of his remaining period and travelling and collecting pocket money for himself.

 

What should be done after the TFG?

 

1. Extend mandate of TFG with less budget and elect new President and PM.

 

2. Another Reconciliation Conference.

 

3. Every region or profince tries to establish own regional goverment and secure own region.
