Peace Action Posted February 15, 2010 Secessionists in this thread are excited over an international non-profit that established an office in Sanaag’s largest city. If that is where you think the “fairy tale” of recognition lies, then Kudo’s to Riyaale’s regime. Well said. There is Al-Manhal from Kuwait that has done a lot of relief work mainly schools and mosques in Hargaysa, Burco, Laascaano, Badhan, Bosaso, Mogadishu and the head & founder is from Puntland. Paragon Posted February 15, 2010 Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: Every country has its own Red crescent or red cross ,,,,,, Good that Somaliland Red Crescent is helping people in Badhan. More to come in the coming months/years ..... IA Correction, JB! The Red Crescent Societies are set up in every country and are non-aligned to any national state. These societies are independent from local politics but work in social development. Waa hay'ad madax banaan, Somaliland-na malahan! LOL. Imagine explaining the obvious, eh? The Red Cross is usually deployed in disaster areas - internationally. ...heh! 'rc somaliland baa leh beey ku leeyihiin' ...war waa sidee nimanyahow! inagaad rabtaan inaad nagu cabtaan miyaa? walle diidney!
General Duke Posted February 15, 2010 ^^^Paragon, dont mind our brothers, they are fighting for a country that does not exist, defending a President that used to arrest their elders and now abuses the masses. Yet they want to take over SSC? Its a strange world the one our secessionist brothers reside in.
NGONGE Posted February 15, 2010 ^^ Don't say 'take over' SSC, say 'keep'. Be factual please. I am with Jb on this (sorry Paragon). The 'hay'ad' is called Somaliland Red Crescent, is it not? The rest is just a news report with hardly any commentary from Jb. If you really want to criticise, go to the Israel thread (now that's a disaster). General Duke Posted February 15, 2010 ^^^NGOONGE, adeer you are a reasonable man and as such I would not have belived you think you can actually take over these regions? This is madness dear secessionist and one that will come to haunt Hargaysa if not checked..
Fiqikhayre Posted February 15, 2010 ^As far as I know there is a German Red Cross, American Red Cross and the British Red Cross and even some regional Red Crosses such as the Bavarian Red Cross and they have all their specific areas of course they fall under the guidelines and jurisdiction of the International Federation of Red Cross/Crescent Societies ^There is also a Somali Red Crescent Society in short SRCS, the same one that opened its office in Badhan . Also the Somali Red Crescent works throughout the country and there is no such thing as a 'Somaliland' Red Crescent well not at the moment and for now at least . So in conclusion there is only one Somali Red Crescent Society and this fact only should embarrass the secessionists in here especially JB, who knows the truth. NGONGE Posted February 15, 2010 ^^ If that's the case then blame Jb.
General Duke Posted February 15, 2010 ^^^Ngoonge, you should have corrected your man JB, for that failure, you share some of the blame. This is from the Red Crescent website itself.. red crescent SOMALIA.. [No Somaliland, in the map lads, just SOMALIA[/b] Somalia Contact details for the Somali Red Crescent Society. WEBSITE of the Somali Red Crescent Society. To make a donation, please see the How to Help section.

Che -Guevara Posted February 15, 2010 Whoever this did should be praised for their effort-I don't think the mother or kid receiving the assistance care much for politics.
General Duke Posted February 15, 2010 ^^^Yup but the mothers & kids in the south dont want to be blown up by foreign terror groups, nor do they want their kids to be used as canon fodder for the liberation of Alaska by Fuad Shangoole. Adeer stop it.
