winnie Posted February 6, 2009 id like to see you prove it too... keep in mind, the prophet(peace be upon him) never abolished the tribal system in arabia (which is very similar to what we still have in our part of africa), but used it to his advantage when possible (like through marriages) and/or created new bonds of friendship between warring clans through the deen of al islam (like the ansar, who consisted of two antagonistic tribes but who obeyed Allah' and his messenger's commandments).
