I did admire you xinny. All that caravan rhetoric was good. For a long time, of all the southern Somali politics SOL poster you made sense. But now you ruined it, for a number of reason including that unnecessary outburst from the other post. You have shown your political inexperience by having an unnecessary outburst. I estimate S-land to have around 5 million people. Thing is, for all we know the Somali population could be 50 million or 5 million, no proper - real - census has ever been taken.

South Somalia including puntland: 7.5+, UN stats.

I think Adam's is not far from the mark. One factor is population growth and the time it takes for it to double. If you go back in nineteen fifties or sixties Somalia's population estimate was more or less in the same neighborhood.

 

That is what is really ridiculous.
